I'm not sure when he added me exactly as I didn't accept his request until late this morning (I wouldn't have done so if we didn't have just a single friend in common). But, yeah, he hasn't bugged me for games or anything of the sort and in fact hasn't said a word since the excerpt I quoted earlier.

Yeah, no more steam games (or services outside AR) for me :'( 20% was way too much but 35% is insane, my only hope right now is that Valve does the same thing that they did in Brasil: local currency.
 
I wish I hadn't bought Civ V for full price at release, should've waited for the Gold Edition and bought it now. It feels incomplete without the expansion packs.

I gotta be honest, I don't even know what Starbound is. But I just watched the trailer for Shadow Warrior where he was singing The Touch, and now I'm gathering TF2 keys to trade with a Russian for it.

My video card won't even run the game. I got problems.

Just realized that a few more days and I'd have been a member here for a year. That's probably the most I've ever been active on a forum. Technically I've been registered at IGN forums since '09 but I don't even post there any more. Before GAF, most forums, I'd be active for a month or two, mainly up until the game releases. Splinter Cell, The Last of Us, State of Decay, Far Cry 3, I was active in those forums and then haven't been back in a while. I barely frequent Gamefaqs anymore, only if I need a quick answer to a question.

But GAF is different. It really is the best community on the web, or least of any I've been a part of. The fact that there's a topic for anything, anything is fair game from the latest game or newest show to that breaking news story to some weirdly specific OT, really makes it far more appealing and encompassing than any other forum. And the community here has proven to be the coolest, most generous, and most friendly I've ever encountered

So yeah, I'll be here for the long run. And to Grief and others, thanks for all your help when I was just PC gaming neophyte a few months ago

Quick question:
I, uh, lost my receipts. Now, I do have good faith in Valve, but I still like to have them just in case. I own almost 200 games. I like to keep them secure. :P
Is there any way to get those mails or PDF's again?
 
I suddenly remembered that Lost Odyssey qualifies too, not kids, grandkids, close enough though.

Ya, these were my feelings too, but someone from steamgaf liked vanilla more. So, it depends.
Not that I regret, still feel like I bought Civ5 3 times already and I yet have to buy BNW.

Submit a ticket. Stump got info on all the games he'd received as gifts (something Steam Community doesn't keep track of as yet).

Maybe (probably) this has been asked several times before, but is the sale ending after the current deals? I'm thinking about buying Guacamelee, but I would want to know how long I have before the deal ends.

Overall, bought more than I though I would. Looking to slow down a bit in the buying department for sure, and start playing the games. I think I'll buy some games in winter sale but after that, I stop looking for deals and just buy the best humble bundles and focusing on reducing my backlog.
