This is pretty much why I stopped playing. Everything I do feels so worthless, knowing about all these great and offensive creations. I can't even hope to get near that offensive.

Don't be, the game is quite fun even if you are only tinkering around with the game mechanics in the campaign mode. Most of the more ingenious contraptions are being made in the sandbox mode. The campaign limits the size of creations players can make. You can of course remove the restriction to play around in each challenge, but progression is not saved.

It's like when you see one of those Vanquish or Bayonetta combo videos, where I could respect the hell out of that and it makes me want to play it but i know that I'll just do the same 3-4 combos over and over again because i'm terrible with that stuff

So Evolve is £34.99 now, wasn't it £39.99 pre-purchase? I am considering making a complaint to UK trading standard over this. I am tired of companies lying about their prices on Steam. Seems like you're basically paying £5 for whatever pre-order incentive that they are calling "free".

Dota 2 has been really bad this week also. It's at a point where we don't even pause now because half the time it happens to both teams throughout the match.

Don't know as the DB's chart only goes back 3 and a half months and Evolve has been up for preorder before then. Far Cry 3 as another example was an initial price of £34.99 but discounted to £29.99 for about 9 months and you could never buy it for £34.99. I think there's isn't too much wrong with the practice since the price restrictions were relaxed in about 2010 or DFS would be fucked with their never ending sales on sofas that were never the priced advertised. Though have a look because it was unlawful for countless years to price an item at a value it was never available at (ie inflating the price to make it look like additional savings).
The client has been pretty snappy for me recently. The community home is still the slowest loading thing thus far for me
