STEAM | February 2015 - Steam GOTY results still delayed

So do I. It's been like less than two months and it's very early to draw any conclusions but I feel like I've gone from buying 10-15 games a month (for a total of 150-200 euros) to buying 1-2 games a month (for a total of 20-30 euros). Everything is just so (relatively) expensive now.

Meanwhile I've put all that money into board games. While some game developers lose whatever little money they made off of me, others have gained.

Good idea. I tried a ton of video games last month, but none of them impressed me as much as the board game I played, Eldritch Horror.

Can't wait to get together some more boardgame nights. I'm not sure when the local multi steam selections I have will get playtime, though (although I never feel like suggesting them because my wireless 360 controller receiver seems to drop controller connections every once in a while).

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
Does anyone know how to make my gun in Stalker visible again? I stopped playing for 2 months and forgot that I took screens with my gun being invis. It is quite difficult playing like this lol

If you don't get/find a precise answer you could try deleting your config file.

Hmm, the only game on there I really want is KOTOR II (already have KOTOR). Hoping the BTA drops a bit.

How's Empire at War?

Wow, very nice. Always meant to buy the publisher bundle when it's been on sale but never got around to it.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Pretty good Humble for those without these games. Personally I'm only missing Republic Commando from the BTA tier and Empires at War Gold from the $12 tier so there isn't much reason for me to be excited about this one.

If the BTA extra games turn out to be any of the LEGO games I'm going to have a breakdown.

Oh and The Force Unleashed is locked to 30fps out of the box and a bugger to get high resolutions going. There's a fix somewhere on the old SPUF to sort the framerate out but I can't remember what I did to get 2560x1440 going.

Fuck, the BTA on the new Humble is going to be astronomical.
Fuck, guess what do I want from the bundle the most?
Yes, Kotor 2. :\

I know we are on GAF but please try to use logic and reason instead of unwarranted hype.

You know this isn't going to happen.

The bonuses will be Jedi Knight 2 and something else

Seems real likely with the additions next week it will end up being just like the Star Wars Steam pack:

http://store.steampowered.com/sub/25772/

Maybe Starfighter will get left out if anything. I bought that full pack last summer for $16 from a RU trader and felt like it was a great deal, so at $12 for this whole thing it's quite the steal. Too bad they didn't wait to do this until they added more of the classics that are on GoG now to Steam. It seems extremely unlikely the LEGO games will end up in the bundle.

lol, the BTA was MORE than Tier 3 just a few seconds ago.

Yeah, the first "purchase" was Kyle Katarn for $100...

I....might actually buy Tier 3

It's well worth it unless you've already got most of them.

I was more on about the fact I'm trying not to buy any games that I don't need this year, especially bundles but if the LEGO games turn up talk about kick in the fucking teeth.

Not being interested in Star Wars games paid off as I had 0 games from the bundle.
Now the question is why I spend money on games I'm not interested in when they are in bundles, but I'd rather not find out and just assume +1 galore is the culprit.

Here's an extra ROTOR KOTOR

If I'm not a particular SW fan, will I enjoy any of the lower tier games? Also, is there native gamepad support.

Tier 1 is hit or miss depending on how willing you are to put up with some early FPS jank, but Tier 2 with Battlefront 2 and Republic Commando plus both KOTORs is a damn fine bundle. Never played Empire at War, so maybe that's worth it in Tier 3?

I'd say KOTOR doesn't really require any Star Wars fandom and is a bargain at a dollar.

$91 for complete edition...
Russia price is under $25 it seems

Now there's a clear case of WB most likely will get less from me in the end than they would have if I could have bought through a trader. I'd jump at $25 for the full version day 1, but at $80+ I'll be waiting for a complete version on sale, most likely at under $10-$15.

I'm addicted to Hyrule Warriors..

is DW8 the only Musou game on Steam or are there more?

would pay heavily for Steam Warriors starring Gordon Freeman
