STEAM | February 2015 - Steam GOTY results still delayed

So I just started playing Far Cry 4. I actually really enjoy it so far, almost makes me wish never having played Far Cry 3 before so that this would have been my first exposure to their Far Cry-Formula. But damn, what the hell is wrong with these fucking eagles? Nature is a bitch in this game, almost feels like a Cabela's game.
I'm also considering to pick up FF13-2 but i don't really look forward to play Sarah as the main character (she just seems so boring). Compared to FF13 (which i somewhat enjoyed after not liking it at first), is this game considered to be better or worse?

Personally, I feel like FF13-2 made some improvements, such as the ability to pokeman with the monsters. It certainly didn't improve the issues FF13 had with characters and story, though.

She needs a 970 to do graphic and web design? I mean, I know some graphic designers and they all swear by Macs, claiming they do graphic rendering better than PCs (but hey, they could be bullshitting me for all I know.) But wow, I had no idea graphic design required that much processing power.

They're basically running Intel graphics or mobile GTX 775M or R9 M290X processors for the last year and a bit.
I dont know either. Im not in the graphic designing area of expertise. I know usually graphic designing might require an expensive CPU, but i'm not sure about GPU

But does the game still throw that many enemies at you? My biggest complain about FF13 actually is the ridiculous and tiring amount of more or less mandatory fights in that game. Well that and the auto-battle function which i wish wasn't there at all but was just too effective to not have used it.

At least you still have functionality. I haven't been able to even access the client for the last three weeks because of the beta updates don't play nice with my OS (XP - don't judge).
My keys-to-enter backlog keeps growing and I currently have no way to access the client. The online workarounds didn't even do anything, so I'm stuck until the next full build is released.

I tried several times with same results until the exe got stuck and I had to close it via task manager.
Then it started updating the client
But now it works. Very weird.
I don't know.

Sounds interesting, but if they're gonna make a female detective look like that, all I'm gonna think of is how wrong it is that she's not wearing a flat blue cap and/or confusing the sexuality of a rough gangster-looking teenager.

I think they should stop saying "Game of Thrones for a family audience" to describe it though. That doesn't really make sense.
They were going to go with "rogue-like" and "Dark Souls lite" but then they realized that no one knows what any of those words mean.

Why not? Game of Thrones is more than just blood and sex. When you strip it down, you have a fleshed out fantasy world with a lot of politics, religion and social networking.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
So it appears that Steam just blacklisted a lot of popular domains from being linked on people's profiles, in comments, dev announcements, and in reviews. So far I've noticed that Reddit and DeviantArt are among these, but I'm sure there are others as well.

I have a bit of fate in netflix, but I won't put my hands in the fire. We'll see as more information are released. So far the only significant information that we have is that it exists.

Best guess right now is that they're doing it to preemptively block sites that have been reported to have hosted malware but are now doing so at the domain level. They figure that it works great for the Chinese and Russian government, so why not?

Mortal Kombat is simply meant to sell big to people attracted to flashy violence. Given the audience, sprinkling on season passes, dlc and microtransactions only makes sense.
