Understood, but prices are definitely dropping slower in general than they used to. I just got back into the scene from about a 3 year hiatus. Usually if I waited just a year to buy a AAA game, there's a good chance it would be 75% off on top of being price dropped to $39.99
The whole market must've grown. Used to get away with murder in Steam sales. Now most publishers have moved closer to Activision level stingyness.

Damn, can you really not buy the darksiders 2 dlc on steam anymore? I realised they replaced the original version with the *deathinitive* edition but figured I'd still be able to grab the dlc through the game's dlc tab. Stupid me lol. I just finished playing the warmastered version of the first and fancied a run through of 2 but with all the dlc. Not sure I want to drop £25 to make that happen though.

They go on sale quite often. You can get the updated DS2 release in a couple of weeks' time.
Just keep in mind taht DS2 keeps the adventure and light platforming and puzzles of DS1, but the setting has the game in bigger open world-like map, and with an RPG Loot system.
Combat is improved and quite fun to mix up with your combat techniques.

So that's where steams customer support went, huh.
Be sure to talk with Koei US rep, dude cares and he's continously sending the issues up to the devs to try to have them fixed.
PC version was the last one being released, and yes, it got all the stuff.

There's definitely a few titles that have held out on deep discounts longer than you'd expect, but we're still seeing things like the new Deus Ex hitting 67% off within six months. I don't think the general trend is actually slowing, I just think the number of day one pc releases has increased substantially, and they always dropped in price slower than late ports.
That said, smart devs have probably finally realized that the pc is a long tail market and it's silly to go to fire sale prices too quickly, especially if a game still sells fairly well. The crazy thing about GTA V is I frequently see it in the top 10 list when it isn't even on sale at all.

Anyone played Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom on PC?
I started playing it and i am having really bad tearing. And there is no VSync option. I tried forcing it through Crimson drivers but it doesn't work, it does nothing. Is there anything else i can do because game doesn't even support borderless only fullscreen and windowed.
How hard can it be for developers to include VSync option in their game?? I mean it's fucking 2017!
Also DoF (gameplay) in this game has to be worst DoF effect i ever saw in my life. Everything few meters away from you looks blury, ugly and lq. Turned that shit off instantly.
Also there are some AO artifacts but it's not that bad.

GTA V is one of the most technically impressive games I have played. Apart from this game, there are a few other games which left me in shock, I can think of GTA III on PS2, Super Mario 64, Zelda Ocarina of Time, Shenmue, Skyrim, The Witness, maybe a few others.
There's a preview of Prey that has been put up of the PC version, but I've got warnings from others that it would be best not to watch it for reasons of ruining the experience - which is surprising if true since I wasn't expecting it to be that kind of game.
Having said that, I watched the first few seconds of the PC Gamer footage (immediately before being warned). I assume Mick Gordon is doing the soundtrack again. Sounds brilliant even from that brief snippet of the menu.

Have you tried running it through that Borderless Gaming app on Steam? I think most of us have it from a bundle.

It supports every game which has a windowed mode. I have never encountered any problem, to the contrary. For the kind of problem which you mentioned, the app tends to do wonders.
The bundle just got 15 more games, someone list them, too lazy to do it
