But what if we just played for the story?brain_stew said:If anything, that makes the purchase even more necessary.
Its worth noting that you can cap the framerate in Mass Effect. Well worth doing as it doesn't really need 60fps, gets rid of some random drops/spikes and allows you to crank the setting much higher. Both Nvidia and ATI users should be able to force AA through their drivers though the performance penalty will be pretty steep with it being a DX9 title using MRT.

Shows as 10756Mb on my PC - so the download itself should be less than thatKeyser Soze said:I've found that is never the right number though. I am more considered with the download size

Thinking of double dipping on Mass Effect. I have the game on 360, but I am thinking of getting ME2 on PC as it will be $10-20 cheaper here in Canada.
That will likely be it for me today

I am guessing you already did this but you can buy and download later when you have bandwidth again.Keyser Soze said:Thanks, but that will kill my monthly download cap, so I wont be downloading

If anyone does better than me you'll get a hardy handshake IRL if I ever meet you. Unless you're a neckbeard weirdo, in that case it will likely be a curt nod.

Well it said "through" the third, so isn't there two more days?
Thanks!Minsc said:Definitive once you download and run them through zDoom.
It even auto-detects your steam directory, so you don't have to do anything other than turn on mouselook and setup wasd keys. The DooM games are not playable any other way than with zDoom imo.
