I have to say, this is the first Steam sale where i have not bought at least 10 games...in fact i have only bought one game which feels weird.
Anyways, with the sale approaching it's end does anyone think that Cook, Serve, Delicious will go on sale again? I really do not want to pay 5 bucks but i feel like i will not have a choice and i do want the game, it looks fun.
Just saw the "players" bit where they were moving it up so I assumed it was local only. Hopefully, still bummed I have no one to play Samurai Gunn with.
Rhaknar, you just keep taking it to the next level. Good on you for all the holiday cheer you've brought to everyone. I've been a lucky recipient as well...
As far as I know, Steam doesn't have that capability. Likewise, there's no way of knowing what games you have through the Origin site itself - you have to download the client to know for yourself.

Nah, Razor's Edge has much better combat. Deadpool's is fine but it's very basic brawler level and the shooting is very hit or miss in its integration. Still really enjoying the game for the pure wackiness. For 8 dollars it was a great purchase.
Oh hey. So I just gifted a friend Gun Monkeys, because I had a good time with that last holiday, and we both got extra copies of that in our inventory. I remember reading that the devs were handing out a bunch of extra keys as a stimulus package to the multiplayer scene. It's a pretty fun, simple 1v1 multiplayer game.
So if you're looking for something to check out with some friends, you could probably get one copy for yourself, and gift the other to a friend, who could then gift their extra to their friend (assuming it works like that), etc. like with The Ship.

Deadpool's cost, however one can get it now, should really be determined on "do I want something no longer sold on Steam?" and/or "am I fan of Deadpool?" rather than seeking out a brawler for it's combat.
I personally couldn't enjoy my time with Deadpool as I don't care for the character and found the combat too repetitive and basic even when levelled up. It's okay sums it up, but only on a mechanical level as far as I'm concerned, not as an overall package.
2 gaffers messaged me about it but now that I found out amazon doesn't take paypal, I'm hesitant to ask ppl to do it, because whatever money I paypal will be useless for amazon because it will be stuck in paypal for 2 days or something until it actually goes to your card or bank account. It's no biggie
Just beat Ys II on Nightmare. Healing items definitely nerfed the boss fights, but I appreciated how that helped the pacing. It's not like Ys I where I got stuck on a boss for almost a legit 2 months. And actually, I get the feeling that Ys II bosses would be just as hard as Ys I bosses if I had some discipline and didn't use healing items. Oh well. I'm just glad that the effects of the equipment you have on worked in battles this time. I'd say the hardest boss was definitely the last one.
Weirdly enough, I'm actually a little disappointed that I didn't have as hard of a time with II as I did with I though. Maybe Ys has made me a masochist.
As for the lore, I was pretty confused the entire time until the end, I thought Ys was Esteria's past form, so I was under the impression that Adol had time traveled somehow. I know, that was pretty dumb of me and I'm not sure how that misunderstanding happened. Also did anyone else think that Lilia looked creepy in her portraits, or was that just me? Also (regarding the ending)
Feena noooo don't goooo, my shiiiip ;_; (also Keith's p hot for a former monster)

I just want to share my appreciation for Skullgirls.
The controls are very Street Fighter like, which let me kick some ass without having to do the tutorial (is there an achievement for completing all of them?), and it is so much fun. The only down side is only having a few characters available, but for the price I paid ($3) I can't ask for much.

Amazon Payments are a great Paypal alternative. I avoid Paypal like the plague. Uh, I'm not sure whether this post solves your problem. I'm just championing Paypal alternatives.

I guess they don't want to keep the money in their Paypal?
I think can actually help you out there, since I have credit in Amazon and don't mind getting paid in Paypal instead.
It's actually kinda benefiting for me.
Feel free to shoot me a PM if you're looking for something on Amazon and need help.
Speaking about Amazon, when will they list those Editors Choice games?
So I think I screwed something up. I just purchased 2 copies of Risk of Rain via the Humble Store and sent one of the links to a friend of mine. He said it was already claimed, which apparently was by me. I didn't redeem the key or anything.
Any ideas what I need to do so I can send him the game? Got another one for another friend as well...
Dammit, all I want is Freedom Force vs the 3rd Reich. Since GMG's deal isn't for the US, I guess the only way I can get it is by buying the two-pack off of Steam even though I already own the first one. :/

For me, yeah. Steam has earned my trust. I know that it won't go installing extraneous crap that's going rooting around my system or try to access my personal computing habits - Steam is limited to its own set of folders. Likewise, I trust Steam's "if our service ever goes down forever, you can download the games you still need" promise as opposed to Origin's "you aren't buying the game, just renting a license" schtick.
Like I said, for $4, it's a great deal. However, I'm going to bide my time until they fix Origin before I play it.
So I *finally* got around to playing Sonic All-Stars Racing... and you all were right. That's a fantastic little kart game! The track designs make me long for... wait for it.. Hydro Thunder to show up on Steam some day.
I'm not sure how to do that. And yeah, completely missed the 'Gift Purchase' option not one but BOTH times, lol. I emailed Humble support but who knows how long that might take. Any idea how to do what you're talking about?

This was said before Steam began selling third-party games. I trust that Valve would remove CEG from its own games but the matter of third-party titles would be left up their respective publishers (although that raises the question of what happens to titles that have been abandoned, like, say, Deadpool), plus there's this in the SSA:
C. Termination by Valve
Valve may cancel your Account or any particular Subscription(s) at any time in the event that (a) Valve ceases providing such Subscriptions to similarly situated Subscribers generally, or (b) you breach any terms of this Agreement (including any Subscription Terms or Rules of Use). In the event that your Account or a particular Subscription is terminated or cancelled by Valve for a violation of this Agreement or improper or illegal activity, no refund, including of any Subscription fees or of any unused funds in your Steam Wallet, will be granted.

So it's just a double standard. I mean, I guess you know this about Steam, wherein you're only under the impression Origin does anything other than look for the mere existence of some files. Where else is it taking information based on your computer if not just scanning your computer's registry.. which would be outside of Steam's own folder? I think you're a little wide-eyed if you're under the impression major digital distribution services are able to indefinitely assure you access to everything for the end of time.
