Releasing soon but still a bit secretive. TotalBiscuit and a few others have been playing it privately for a while now. TotalBiscuit describes what they are doing as "insane" with lots of content. So I expect a literal super long war, and judging by some of the features revealed, a shit ton of effort has gone into it.

Played a little bit of Victor Vran. Very good game so far.

Man, I could only buy Humble bundles every year and would still have more quality games than I could ever play.

DualShock 4 SteamGAF, which bluetooth adapter are you using for the controller? I had a cheap tiny nub around but the controller disconnects and lags heavily when I'm only away like two or three meters from the PC (works fine if I'm sitting right in front of it). So I guess it's utter garbage and need something proper for that fine Cemu TV experience. Suggestions?

But perhaps I will just borrow my brother's Steam controller and see how it works as a WiiU gamepad replacment. Doesn't use it anyway lol

I think some people fixed their problems just switching from USB3 port to USB2, but I have Plugable Bluetooth adapter and no problems here.

I recently bought the official adapter when it was on sale at Newegg for $10. I've only used it a handful of times but I like it and it worked perfectly right out of the box. In Windows 10 I didn't even have to install any drivers.

Playing audio from the headphone jack on the controller, wirelessly, is pretty awesome.

Completly forgot about that piece of hardware. It's incredibly expensive here however (26€ shipped or higher) but I guess that would be the best solution.

I don't understand the complaints about the walking in Furi at all. It's like a minute or two tops of story exposition between fairly long fights, and you don't have to watch them more than once.
Hell, on replays you can just do the speedrun mode. or skip directly to inidvidual bosses.

It just makes me think people complaining about it have the attention span of a goldfish or no concept of pacing at all.

Does the official adapter support xinput or dinput?

It doesn't support xinput, but it's officially supported in Steam now - so for most games it's (right click game -> configure controller -> select "gamepad" -> play) and it works like my old Xbox One controller on all the games I've tested so far.

Some games, like Owlboy, picked it up right away without any fuss and even had the PS4 button prompts in-game.

It's actually up to 5 minutes per scene. It's up to 5 mintues in which you do nothing but pressing the stick into a direction (or use the auto-walk button), while listening to overly ambigous exposition that doesn't say anything of meaning.

It just didn't add anything to my experience and felt like one big waste of time.

You can achieve slow pacing for cooldown phases in between bosess without taking away the fun i had playing the game.

Received a follow-up from gamesplanet about the Castle of Illusion revoke:

We've investigated the case and SEGA will be reactivating the keys within the next 24-48 hours. I am sorry that this happened and hope it doesn't cause you any issues again. It's not fun when a customer gets a revoke and we're not in the business to cheat gamers, sadly this was out of our control.

Shame they didn't provide the more detailed info, since that makes it clear that this is closer to the publisher side of things rather than anything to do with them and their store.

They're essentially just cutscenes, and IMO pretty well done, but that's obviously subjective. Still, there's more downtime in practically any other game that isn't an 80s arcade game, so it always seemed like a weird overreaction to me.

Steam controller is pretty cool for WiiU gamepad emulation. I think I'll stick with it for that. Wasn't even aware it had two paddles at the back, pretty useful for modifier shifting (i.e. hold left paddle to transform right pad into a mouse for touch screen input).
