I'm in. Two KSers in one day! And maybe something at the end for the week for Pillars 2. Guess it's good that no actual games are coming out soon that I'm super high on.

I'm not usually one for physical copies, but this one is pretty sexy. Probably not $100 sexy though hmm...

It's sad that the worst part of being a gamer is the community itself.
On one hand you have really awesome people doing fantastic contributions to the community with mods, fixes, guides, art or incredibly generous giveaways but on the other 90% are rabid fanboys, trolls, or worse.
Everything needs to be turned into a war or drama, it's fucking disgusting.

The DF Retro video motivated me. No need for a disc drive.

does anyone know of an up-to-date resource on the different types of AA and their pros/cons? i've been messing with these settings for years and never seem to remember which one is preferable.

"Hmmm, which of my dozen currently-installed unplayed games should I start up today?"

"....."

"Eh, I'll just play 10 more hours of Dragon's Dogma."

Been watching streams of RE7 and I notice the protagonist talks like Leon in RE4, making one-liner quips and stuff during crazy scary situations. It's pretty jarring.

It's also 90% of his dialogue, Ethan is a complete cipher and probably the worst Resident Evil protagonist yet.

So far, Resident Evil 7 scares the shit out of me. And I only just got a gun

SteamGAF, anyone getting the Switch at launch here?

I might! Considering getting in on an amazon.jp pre-order thingy if it works out. Then again my birthday is in April, so maybe it makes sense to wait and see a little bit.

Buying stuff at launch is almost always a bad deal, but I find the concept very appealing

I'm canceling mine since I'd rather save the money to buy games for things I already own. I did want one though so I'm sad to give I up, but I can wait.

It's not so scary if you recognize the mechanics behind the monster behavior, and they kinda telegraph the jump scares. I imagine that in year or so we'll see an AGDQ speed-run of the game which makes the monsters look like a joke.

No, though I would like to. The obtuse way that Nintendo have handled digital is the only real reason I don't bother. I really don't want to bother throwing money at games that will ultimately be made useless when they end the service. Generally, I'm pretty slow with gaming and also someone that likes to replay games frequently, so perpetuity is pretty important along with not needing to keep draging out an old system to / system will eventually break.

Better for me to wait till the end of its like and get things on the cheap, or simply not bother as I did with the WiiU - the first Nintendo Console I didn't buy since purchasing NES onwards.

The Steam equivalent of the drunk friend who keeps offering to pay your tab all night.

That's not Trails in the Sky.

As for Switch, it depends if SMT is exclusive.
Atlus already made me buy a 3DS, a system I have a ton of issues with and wouldn't have bought otherwise.

I have a 3DS and personally can't wait for Citra to be at least on par with Dolphin, emulation-wise.
I just can't feel comfortable using that thing, getting neck cramps almost immediately after switching it on.

SWAT 4 has a good reputation. I'll keep an eye on it. I thought my buddy had it when I was flipping through his old CDROMs this summer but it was an earlier isometric SWAT.

You should have read the OP when I pointed you there yesterday. No selling here. Go to the pinned B/S/T thread in Community.

Eh? I didn't see that, my bad! I'll wipe my post immediately! Sorry about that, pal!
