I'm also doing this, but uplay sometimes corrupt the saves themselves, so to be extra safe disable the cloud saves

Turn off Applocale.
If you play a lot of Japanese games, you probably have this set to Japanese.

Mods can't set the tags of other users so I couldn't abuse my power even if I wanted to.
I could follow in the footsteps of Mike Works and change every thread title to something Saoirse-related, though.

Also, is there any place to buy battlefield 2142? It's not on steam and on origin. The other ones in the series are though, so I think I'm looking at the wrong places.

I already have my 50 regular Mysterious Cards and need just a further ~$11 to buy a set of foils. I should be able to get to that point using drops.
During Steam's larger sales (Summer/Autumn/Winter) virtually everything on the store receives a general discount and Battlefield in particular is likely to be a featured franchise sale.
Nope. EA's killing online support at the end of the month as it can't be bothered patching out GameSpy (or more accurately, it's trying to push people to the more modern entries).
Yeah. They'll be playable come July, too -- it's just that there'll be no master server, so you'll have to connect to server IPs directly.

Sometimes I feel like the only person in the Steam thread who doesn't do anything with his cards, has never crafted a badge, and doesn't care about them.
But think of all the hats you could buy with card money!
Edit: Speaking of hats, Wolf14's should be marketable by now. Flip that switch already.

Yeah, the graphics don't quite mesh too well in the game, which is a shame. The hand drawn environments and cutscenes look great though. Some of the hand drawn stuff I could imagine sticking up on my wall as a poster, it's so good.
The voice acting is definitely a stand out. Good soundtrack too.

Sad thing with bf2142. Why won't they offer the game like bf2 which is losing online support, too? Read from a lot of people that it's a very good game in the series.

_/¯Haha, if only. I'd have my sweet, precious Wheelman... and every other game I've missed out on. (The Steam Master sub was purged of all third-party content a month ago, but I assume Valve employees can still add games to their accounts manually if they so desire.)
Well I didn't really like it too much when I tried it in the beta, but then again I didn't really give it much time. I've mostly been playing the pvp the past 2 or 3 days and I've been really enjoying it. The questing seems a bit of a chore if you're solo. That's probably it's biggest downfall.

Yeah. I just can't stop being just a little bit excited about my first Summer Sale. But again, I only have €65 for it. And I have more than 300 games in 2 months, yet I have only completed Max Payne 3, Shelter, Dear Esther and The Plan.
If I could just get the following, I would be happy. Any chance for discounts on these?:

my guess that you'll probably be able to get most, if not all, of the items in the list. these are pretty old games, so with the discounts it would be pretty easy to get them
Haha, you do actually have a point, but even so those two big key dumps weren't cheap. I don't particularly care about not being tagged, though: if it happens one day (or I'm in the position to give myself one), great, but otherwise it's of no concern to me.

I received a -33% coupon for DreadOut a couple of weeks ago so I'd say that's what it'll be discounted by if it happens to show up as a featured deal.
