I capped @ 60fps and GTX 970 stays at ~33% usage. (1920x1200 maxed)
Ah, it was uncapped. Is there an option in-game?
Anyway I think I won't replay it, it's still exactly the same game, also I have no katana from the start, no reason to keep going. I don't understand how melee should work in this game, anyway, considering when the dumbest mob in the game explodes near you, you get ton of damage, melee option seems like a "do you wanna die?" mode here.
Vsync in-game should work. But I use RTSS.

For full-physics combat I just want Mount&Blade 2: Bannerlord.

Only thought: does it need adminsitrative access for some reason? The only times I've had issues with vanishing save files/progress it's been due to how restricted folders work, essentially vanishing anything that doesn't have admin access.

SK has always done nothing for me. It is just so extreme that it pushes funny into stupid.
I assume it is supposed to be funny at least.
Now letting me build nudie towers out of dead bandits in Skyrim, that is a quality application for a nude mod.

Usually I regret watching porn/hentai because I find nothing that can get me off. I'm really picky.
Sometimes I feel like shit and just close it. Porn really makes you think sometimes.
I just finished (or, well, at least reached the grand ending of) Root Double.

Maybe - the documents folder that the save games are supposed to be stored in needs administrator access to make changes. Thought my user account had administrator access by default though. Any way I can resolve that and have the game run as an admin?
Edit: Ran Steam in Administrator mode and that solved the problem. Annoying but glad that's sorted!
Man, I hope Destroy All Humans! comes to Steam courtesy of Nordic. Yeah, the horrible stealth sucks, but the story is cool and weapons/UFO are so fun to use. Hopefully we get a sequel and they fix the problems that have held the series back.

then do a quick check to see if it saves anything. If it saves things normally, the game needs admin access because of where its installed and you will need to
go to the .exe's properties > compatibility > run as admin
Depending on your settings, you may see a "____.exe requests admin access pop-up allow/deny" thing every time you run it; annoying but a small price to pay.
The thing with admin accounts, as I understand it, is that you're authorised to give admin access to programs, though that doesn't mean everything automatically has it by default. I think it's largely to stem the tide of malicious programs doing bad things to, say, critical Windows files.
Although if your documents folder needs admin access, I feel like every game using your documents folder would need admin access to work properly. So I dunno.

I was just told that I'm wrong for saying that a frame-rate that doesn't go above 16-18 fps is unacceptable.
Apparently if I was able to play and beat the game, it's acceptable.
