Yeah my brother is actually really into it and he says it's fantastic, but I could never get into basketball so for a person like me, my interest of basketball begins and ends with space jam.

Just noticed that Groupees started noting which games now have Steam keys at the bottom of their newsletters! Knew about Project Stronghold but I totally forgot Level 22 was in an earlier bundle too.

The period of pinball discrimination sucked.

Yup. It seems like only a short while ago that "Why isn't this on Steam?" was a familiar refrain.

Valve was never transparent about their process for selecting or rejecting games when the store was rigorously curated. There were a lot of games, genres and indie devs that couldn't make it on to Steam. With Greenlight we had a mix of a curated store front combined controlled releases from Greenlight submissions that the Steam userbase voted for. People still weren't happy. Valve weren't transparent with how Greenlight worked, maybe out of fear people would try to game whatever system they put in place, I don't know, but games weren't making it on to the store out of Greenlight fast enough for some. Now the floodgates are wide open and it seems like anything can make it on the store, which is both good and bad.

While we've gone from one extreme to another and there are games like Earth: Year 2066 and its ilk on the store, I can at least buy a lot more games in more genres from more creators in a couple of different ways (the early access stuff) now on Steam than I could on the old curated store front.

It would be ideal if they could manage the balance of the two but I'll take what the store is now over what it used to be.

Just pointing out that King's Bounty: Collector's Pack currently on spring humble sale, is easily ~500 hours of gameplay.
No, not even kidding, I would buy it myself, but I have all games, multiple copies, except ice and fire dlc

also thanks to Terra Ex I know have full bore too! Very interested how fully it can bore. (><)

edited: Jasec is totally a steam wiz

edit2: I got bored by You Have to Win the Game in 30 minutes or so, no too bad for a free game, I mean to last that long

Rise of Prussia Gold is now available for $19.99 disappointed, no discount.

About the Game

Rise of Prussia Gold is the new and improved version of AGEODs Seven Years War (1757-1763) game set in Europe. This hugely detailed strategy game was initially released by AGEOD in 2010 and the Gold version adds numerous improvements and additional scenarios that take the game to the next level.

The original game is set during the age of famous king Frederick II, featuring Prussia and her allies in her grand fight against the Coalition led by Austria with France, Russia, Sweden and the Empire.

As a reminder, Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure is apparently still in pre-purchase but will release later today, and if you buy it now you receive the previous Tex Murphy game, the Pandora Detective.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.

Still on the fence on this one. It's the only way (currently) to get the older game. Not sure if this will be a Rayman 2 scenario, or if they'll just release the older games on Steam and they'll be in a bundle at some point. Never played any of these games.

Store page:

Do we know the price?

I didn't realize that Sonic collection was only going to stick around for a day. Bummer.

Me neither. I was still undecided whether to buy it or not since I already own Racing Transformed and Generations, but I guess humble made that decision for me (#ﾟДﾟ)

SteamDB shows £39.99 for me but nothing on the store though using the DB's add to cart button sure enough shows up at £39.99. Yeah we'll see how that goes down.

Oh yep, that works here too. $49.99. And it even lets me add it to the cart and check out.

I'll wait for a sale :)

Thankfully, much like the bullet sponge enemies from Serious Sam it will require much more of ammo than that to take me down.

Bullet sponge is not really a phrase I'd use to describe them, with the exception of Kleers. I hate those guys. Not fun to fight at all. I was playing SS2 the other day to record some footage, and it felt soooo GOOOOOD.

The whole Minerva and other space lady thing was so weird.
But I guess Ubisoft had to find a way to stretch out the modern day assassin's creed storyline somehow.

The whole animus thing gets in the way of my assassinating damn it.

When you say SS2...You mean The Second Encounter, right?
TSE is pretty amazing, I could never get into SS2, just felt too...odd(not in terms of gunplay, in terms of how Sam and everyone around him acts)

about 40% of spidercove cleared

i'm literally like killing like 2 or 3 spiders then running back to the bonfire then 2 or 3 again then back and again and again 15 times for each spawn

it's tedious, but it kinda desensitizes me to them which is good and also makes me feel a bit less paranoid but man this shit is stressful as fuck

i put on some fun music and picked the weapons that looked the most painful to help i guess

stopped now a bit to recollect myself. the big bad room is still left and spiderweb room too but i think i may leave those alone and just summon someone and have them clear them for me on the way to the boss
