Yeah, Story is fantastic and challenge tower is pretty cool too. Although the PC version has everything unlocked from the start (except some artwork) so you don't have to play the story and the challenges to unlock the secret characters and costumes

I'm not into the Atelier games(Actually, I just bought Atelier Escha and Logy Alchemists of the Dusk Sky a few days ago which will by my first entry into the games series) but they all seem really cute and friendly for all ages(the game I just bought is PG for example, same as ni no kuni), why does it have an R18+ rating?

Castlestorm got pretty decent praise when it was released on Vita and PS3... I grabbed it awhile back for PC but haven't played it yet. Y'know, like everything else I buy.
Mortal Kombat 9 is fantastic. I'm not sure how the online is compared to consoles, but on consoles it was hit and miss, so I would think it wouldn't be any worse than that.

Depended on the day and who you were playing. I had fights that felt pretty much like the person was playing on the same console as me and I had fights that were an absolute slideshow.
I wish these developers (fighting games) would just adopt and perfect some version of GGPO rollback code.

HVS would obviously be the best choice considering it ported the game, but there's no reason why the job couldn't be handballed elsewhere, as an alternative.

The commentary is definitely interesting if you enjoyed the game and would like to learn more about it. Even if you don't want to play it for just that, I recommend EatChildren's thread regarding the commentary. The main thing with the boss fights were that they added new methods of defeating the bosses for people who didn't focus on combat, so they might or might not be improved for some people depending on their play style. Though the boss fights were okay without the changes, the changes did make experimenting a little more interesting.

Yeah, I know people bitched about it... but as someone who was geared toward using sniper tranquilizers to do a no-kill run on hard, running into the final boss of Shanghai area WITH the inhibitor chip was ridiculous. And yet I managed to beat him down and without using the glitch.

Options aren't a bad thing -- but I still don't agree with all the hate the boss battles got in the first place.

I'm pretty sure they're not going to add them as they only did the PS4 trophies because Sony has a mandate that all games require trophy lists. And when they made the trophies, they just kind of phoned it in apparently and some of them were kind of made to be grindy or irritating on purpose since they didn't want to add them.

Regardless of whether the achievements would be fun to get or go for, the fact that they released a version of the game with more content and haven't ported that content to the PC version yet really irks me. I don't care if the achievements suck and I won't ever focus on 100% and I don't care if it's not "part of their vision" for the project. When they "sold out" in a sense and put it on PS4 to make more money and reach a bigger audience they compromised that "vision" they spoke of... so now for me it's all about parity (and the fact that I don't want to play the game and have the achievements show up after I've finished with the game forcing me to replay or use SAM).

Took a pass on Castlestorm for now actually. I looked through my steam library and saw some games I have installed but not played that I can play instead. Swapper and Zeno Clash 2. Plus I still have Shadowrun Returns to plow through, which has been great!

Going to agree with this. The my player mode is so damn addictive, and if you've been away from basketball games it's definitely worth playing if you're interested.

The deluxe edition costs 2.5 times as much as the base game. If you don't want the rest of the extras (SpaceChem, Soundtrack...) it should be an easy choice.
