Shadowgate (2014.) I'm only two hours and change in, but I like the attention to detail. (I don't like the fact that they have at least one unkillable enemy, but this was one of those early adventure games that relished screwing you over. Sierra was the same way. So you just gotta deal.)

Oh, absolutely, it's just that there isn't really a win condition that doesn't involve conquest.
the thought of having to remove the PSU, bring it down to the distributor, put it back into the PC - oh, the hassle oh well.

Nice giveaway. I played Musaic Box years ago on Kongregate. It's fun and polished, but pretty short.
I don't recall Doom/Wolfenstein being like that (your description sounds more like Serious Sam), but yes I do enjoy those old-school style of shooters.

Terraria got a patch with controller support today.
Then you'll be alright. I'd recommend watching someone play the first few missions tho- barring new weapons, the core encounters don't change all that much (other than becoming more frequent and challenging in an everything including the kitchen sink sense).

I'm only 4 levels in, but the enemy to level size ratio seems fairly consistent between Doom 1/2 and Doom 2016 so far. Does it drastically change later on?

What was your issue? Because I have AC3 on Uplay, activated all DLCs but I need to manually download a .rar with DLCs from Nuveem if I want to play them, did they finally update that?
