Oof i should comsider backing it then

Yes you should - little time left!

Just got done trying the demo to reach the final decision if I should back or not, and decided to back it. The gameplay is nice and the fact the game is supposed to come out in July makes it a short wait.

Awesome. how did you like the demo? Did you try the latest demo (that was the PAX East 2016 build)

I made a thread for the KS but lol it did not pick up at all - http://m.neogaf.com/showthread.php?t=1210957

Mobile gaf sucks big time now with ads that take up 50% of your screen.

I do not mind the ads, but why are they gigantic?

not sure how true this is but still funny for me

Aren't porn sites censored in South Korea ?

Still enjoying Shadowrun Returns, just
killed the doctor.
The only thing that's bugging me is how the combat mode persists sometimes, even when there are no enemies in sight. In the last level I had to navigate each character to the floor exits individually, and walk around using the turn system. There's no way to toggle the combat mode off, is there?

But I definitely wishlisted Dragonfall, if it's a lot better than this I can see myself enjoying it a lot. I picked street samurai now, tempted to try out mage in the next game.

That game goes downhill really fast after the weird plot twist and enemy reveal.. Actually the last 1/3 pretty much burned me out of trying Dragonfall even though I own it.

I found the gameplay pretty cool with the pause and character switching, ability cooldowns while still retaining a real-time flow.
The backgrounds are nice, though they seem a bit blurry to me. Animations are nice too and the VA felt solid enough.

No idea which build it was, I just downloaded the one on Steam.

There is. I remember having the same problem. It's just been so long I don't remember where the button is. Pretty sure it's in the combat toolbar at the bottom.

I just searched online, and I don't think there is! At least in Returns. All my search results come up to people being annoyed by the same thing.

You played it today I suppose? that should be the PAX East 2016 build!

Yea I found the backgrounds to be blurry at times too but I guess they kinda wanted that French comic-style look too

Oh, really ? I mean, if they're censoring porn, why would they make south korean porn sites legal ? :p

They aren't legal but they are easier to get too. Because sites within South Korea aren't subject to the country's international firewall. That said, it's not difficult to get around.

Human Resource Machine is pretty good so far. It's basically just a visual programming language to compare/add/subtract/multiply etc... numbers together. Gets complex pretty quickly as loops are hard to control, need multiple cases depending on the sign. Probably a nice introduction to those without a programming background. Oh for a FOR loops and IF statements though!

Also only 22
achievements
to go until I hit 5000!

If I like platformers and RPGs what are some good choices on steam? Exclusives mainly

Do you have a preference in your platformers? Metroidvania, side-scrolling, puzzle-platformer, with rogue like elements? What have you played so far in the blanket genre (even across platforms)?

Why the push for exclusive ones? A significant amount of the platformer library is available on mobile or other consoles, I feel. Off the dome, I can only think of two that are wholly PC exclusive: Outland, and Dreaming Sarah.

If you mean the nepnep game it should run fine even on a dual core CPU.

I have got a laptop with intel hd 3000 have been able to play most games with at least lowest settings when the requirements were met, yours being a bit better with DirectX 11.1, OpenCL 1.2 and OpenGL 4.0 support most games on steam will run on intel hd graphics 4400 .

Note that the games will run but dont expect playable framerates on heavy games like gta 5 or mgs 5.

Neptunia games should be playable at least looking at their requirements , they do specify have a dedicated gfx as a minimum though.

Mmmm. Ok. I'll try and see how it runs once I get back from work.

Thanks you both.

Only thing we have confirmed so far is Mad Max and Gunmetal Arcadia Zero (jshackles alert from the devs of You Have to Win the Game)
This is quite interesting. Gunmetal Arcadia is a rougelike, and Gunmetal Arcadia ZERO has handcrafted levels. I wonder when the former will release. Minor Key games should be on a podcast like Playscape LA and talk about their philosophy and routines. They put out games quite quickly. I like Elsdritch and Neon Struct more than their 2d output so I'm not sure what I'll do with my key. I hope they have success.

What are the essential Warhammer games I should be grabbing in this sale (with exception of W40K DoW, thanks to jaw)? Keep in mind that I never had any contact with the series before, and my referential in the RTS genre is Halo Wars lol.

also Persona 5 hype

In any case, around 70minutes more to go and we are just 400 pounds away from the New Game+ stretch goal :3
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/13978330/masquerada-songs-and-shadows

It features voice actors from Mass Effect, Walking Dead, Fire Emblem and... more (I think)

Is FFX/X-2 HD confirmed on Steam yet? There would be some friends who would be so pleased at the news

Nintendo is going to have a huge stage on E3, right?
What are they going to show besides Zelda if there's no direct. :/

Just giveaway the booths to some indie devs or something.
I see an Oculus booth. No Vive? I'm more interested in Vive stuff :(
Anyone still on the fence about Stellaris should check out the Let's Play by Quill18: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TI9tzLD8WQ&list=PLs3acGYgI1-sMt6B-eD7xWgIFAkm223pK
Quill gives great detail on the game mechanics, yeah. But Scott Manley's videos have all the style.. he chose the space foxes.
Need to watch this.

Total War: Warhammer will launch with official modding tools and Steam Workshop support, as well as a number of mods which are being prepared for day one.

Dresden is creating the 'Regional Occupation Mod', which will remove Total War: Warhammer's restriction regarding which cities can be occupied by which races. This restriction is new for the series and some players don't like the sound of it - this will no doubt prove a welcome fix, if you find yourself in that camp.

Meanwhile, historical buff Magnar is putting together the 'Legendary Lord Start Position Mod', which will allow players to customise the starting positions of the game's Legendary Lords. The name sort of gives that one away. I probably didn't need to explain it.

The Persona 5 stream was quite an information overload. My mind is numb with happiness.
No word on a PC version though, as expected.

I'm glad Uncharted 4 and Blood&Wine will make the wait easier. I have a feeling nothing will touch this game for me once I play it.

It was a Japanese stream though. And I dont expect a PC version of Persona 5 to happen at all for two reason:
1) On the japanese side, they dont know what Steam is.
2) On the american side... Well... Atlus PR guy's behaviour is pretty much telling on how PC push wont come from them.
