You guys like OlliOlli, right? How far did you get? I expected it to only take up a few hours of my time, but I enjoyed getting all of the challenges in each level.

I completed the challenges in the top/amateur row, but I don't know if I have the fortitude to try to do the pro challenges too.

Believe! I got 5 stars in the first 3 worlds (and most of 4). I gave up on the pro stuff once I got to Neon City, but I may go back to it soon.

Again, we need to start flooding Volvo's twitter and facebook. Seems like embarrassing Valve into talking is the only way.

Pfffft people feeling bad about no HL2 on it's 10th anniversary.
I've had so many game anniversary come and go with nothing from the companies that at this point I figure it's only us who actually give a shit. Done waiting to see if a company will do anything when they come around.

Looking like telltale have either tweaked their engine or got a whole new one for this. In any case, I will miss out on this unlike every other telltale game, but only because I am yet to watch any Game of Thrones and get the impression I might need to if it starts somewhere around it's 3rd season

That looks like a screenshot from an iPad?

Or is it the game's art style?

Why? What good would it do?

It would actually make them come forward and say something? It worked for Dota. The HL fandom played nice for years and we got zero to show for it. Valve has no excuses for the way the handled themselves regarding the HL franchise.

It's damning enough that i need to propose this so they get off their asses and say something.

game of thrones + telltale games is like the anti-zkylon

It's the nolykz of video games.

These campaigns rarely work. If anything, Valve will just say something along the lines of "we heard what you've been saying, we're working on things, but we can't talk about it now."

It's kind of like petitions to localize games. A company will acknowledge that they exist, and say "we'll look into it," but it rarely does any good.

It would be pointless and Valve still wouldn't care about Half-Life.

My birthday is today and boy, am I glad to stay indoors all day today because I believe I drank too much for one night.
It'll be nice to catch up on some games.
Happy birthday ramos!

Man, just checked Turfster's link to the last Sega Humble. Alpha Protocol was to be had for just 1$???
Such a shame I didn't know about bundles back then :(

Hopefully Alpha Protocol will be in the new Sega Humble at the 1$ tier again.

Testing out some old games since I can't play DA:I yet. And I can finally play The Saboteur without performance problems, yay.

Some low textures here and there but still looks good enough, considering it's a 5 year old game.

Worked for Dota.

No, they can't say something generic. They will have to answer question how SP games fit their current philosophy and give concrete info about the next HL game like the stage the game is in production.

Could actually be from an iPad, since I'm sure telltale will be pushing this for mobile as much as PC and consoles. It could also just be some concept stuff. No answers yet.

Regardless what it is clipping for concepts is odd.

i actually really like the saboteur

could've done without the boobies dlc but i love its black-and-whiteness and i like it's mostly european cast.

With Dota, it was an update that they called "annual."

HL3 was never promised and you're not entitled to the game because you liked its previous iterations.

And do you really think that engrossing of an answer will come of that kind of action?

Well, yeah it's in game then. Frankly, I don't care too much on how it looks. Although I do find it interesting that since this is based on the books but they are using the TV versions of character, most likely to appeal to the larger audience. I'm sure there are some book nerds ready to kill someone :p

I wish the fans would just... I don't know... pool their efforts and make a spiritual successor to HL themselves or something if they want it that badly. Use their energy for something constructive. This "WE'RE GOING TO FORCE VALVE TO LISTEN TO US! THEY HAVE TO MAKE THE GAME WE WANT!" attitude some people seem to have is a little embarassing, honestly. I mean, I know people are frustrated that they've left the story hanging for so long, but come on. : /

I played some DM in CS:GO for the first time because I wanted to do some "missions" in the new Operation (have played around 100 hours of competitive) and it was pretty surprising that it's a very good and fast DM shooter too. Like a modern COD, but without perks, overpowered weapons or any other bullshit. Just fast skill based action. I don't think I will still play anything outside competitive anytime soon but if competitive isn't for you and you like to shoot stuff CS:GO is pretty much the best thing out there right now.

I wish Steam had an option to "Mark as Purchased."

It makes sense that they don't want to limit their advertisement, but I'd love the ability to filter games (even more so) based on my own criteria, without potentially making Gabe think I don't love roguelikes.

Basically, I have PS+ - Please stop showing me Binding of Isaac Rebirth, and Steamworld Dig.

Done with game #100 of the year:
anbfcrksip.png

Terrible story, some nonsensical puzzles, extremely long loading times, very mediocre translation and porn movie voice acting.
But by god, it looked amazing. Beautiful hand drawn backgrounds, nicely animated characters, comic panel cutscenes... A feast for the eyes, if nothing else.

I thought the story was good! Went a bit off the rails at the end but a cool concept.

Just throwing this out again: Any US GAFer able to gift a copy of Far Cry 4 to a Brit?

I liked A New Beginning. Sorta incomprehensible, with some poor translations and budget effects here and there, but it sure was interesting all the way through.
have no idea what you mean lol

Crusader Kings 2 is a genuine video game, complete with a historical setting. I.E, it is the exact opposite of both TellTale's games and Game of Thrones. Therefore, it is pro-zkylon!

I warned people. I warned them over and over again, but did they listen?
The "story" was written by a 4 year old that's hitting you over the head with a squeaky hammer that shouts "NATURE GOOD HUMANZ BAD" every time it hits.
