I deeply respect Tom Happ, because creating a game as ambitious and well-made as Axiom Verge almost completely singlehandedly is a fantastic feat, but honestly, I didn't really like playing it all that much and dropped it halfway through when I had too many dead-ends to investigate and it was the third time in short succession where I simply had no idea where to go.

It is classic Metroid... but classic Metroid isn't perfect. This one amplified all the problems I have with that style of game, though it does have its unique strengths with some modern ideas (the whole glitching system) and some impressively scaled boss sprites.

I completed the game and never really had the problem of not knowing where to go.

Axiom Verge tickled that exploration sense way better for me than Ori which was pretty straight-foward. I like Ori too, but it did not have so much in common with classic metroidvania-style gameplay.

The game has been sitting in my library, installed, for about a month now. 36GB of wasted space.
Not sure if I want to jump to it after I'm finished with Fallout 4.

I'm finishing up Prototype 2 today then putting a few hours into FF13.

I finished main story, watched true ending on YouTube and deleted game few day ago to make space for AC Syndicate. So i don't care. :D

I'm from my friend, waiting to play Bloodborne DLC, Sony fucked up and we can't play it because the DLC is marked as not owned. Lol.

I'm surprised that only Pepsiman (from my flist) seem to have played Eternal Senia.
I mean, sure it's a free to play game (with no dlc or microtransactions though) and while it has a 98% positive reviews out of 3645 reviews, it could be thought as just being echo chamber noise (I thought it was pretty good though).
But still with it being free, not too long and being an RPG Maker game with a kind of action combat, I imagined some more people would give it a try.

I think the price of buying all the DLC a la carte finally finally overtook the price of the season pass this month. I think, last I checked. One month to go, lol.
