CS:GO runs badly (lots of drops from 60-90fps) no matter what settings on my i5 laptop. L4D2 runs wonderfully at highest settings on both my laptop and 7 year old C2D desktop.

I was gifted Kromaia today by a GAFer and in the gift note, I was requested to make (a) webm(s) of the game.
I've completed the task... and while my flying is terrible, the game itself seems pretty decent.
It's on sale for $5 currently (75%) if you're interested. http://robotbrush.com/corrosivefrost/Kromaia.mp4.converted.webm
Mh-hm. Nice. Is that with HBAO+?

Guess US folks are celebrating turkey-day and that's why it's pretty slow here. Have fun eating with your families peeps!
Funny thing though. I thought I'd be much more into the sale but it just passes by me. Maybe not having monies this time is kind of a bless.
Also. Crazy nice thing of you to do Shadow. Respect.
not sure if its breaking 2k earlier this year, or the fact that im playing one massive game (Inquisition) with another waiting to be next (the wow xpac), but I just cant seem to pull the trigger on games like I used to. I actually think "im never gonna play this" now... what happened to me

Same here. I buy a bunch of games and then I end up just playing the usual multiplayer stuff I already own. That's why I'm cutting back on my list of must buy games.
Having never played a game published by Disney and available on Steam, are these games legitimately good, is it for nostalgia, is it just for the +1? Is it the eternal hope that a game finally goes on sale (remember Bloodlines?) Help me understand here.

Some of both, and a bunch were just added to Steam recently so sales this soon would unlikely no matter what. But Disney is notoriously stingy with sales, both in how rarely they put things on sale, and how they tend to only go 50-66% off at the most.
I'm dangerously close to 1000 games. This is a threshold men are not meant to cross. Something you're not meant to disturb is slumbering beyond that point.

*raises hand*
I can actually speak properly only English and Spanish, but can understand to some degree Portuguese, Italian, French and a bit of German and Japanese
No no, they just love you very deeply and they finally got your attention, so they definitely don't want to let go. You know, like cats and dogs that start breaking things if you ignore them for five seconds for a bit.
There is a sale thread? Usually when there is a sale thread the normal Steam thread is locked. I guess it still remains unlocked now that it's in the Community
I was sad and angry that I missed this, but then decided to put my GMG credit to good use... Wolfenstein for $3 was pretty sweet
Also especially for this:
You will. It's practically impossible for Bethesda to distinguish those who actually pre-ordered the game from those who bought a pre-order key after its release.
Spanish and English here, though my English pronunciation is awful.
In other news, I've realized that when Valve added the 30 days restriction thing they forgot that we can have our own bears and trust them with our precious keys.
Well, one needs english to get to the good porn, so I tried my hardest to learn this magical porn accessing language. My other language is of course german. Since I was born and raised in the magical land of germany.
I can also read cyrillic letters.

I'm fluent in German and English, took Latin (sucks), Italian and Spanish in school for several years. I can still read those alright but speaking becomes rough quickly when you don't use a language at all. Took a semester each of Finnish and Japanese at university but that's super basic stuff.
Yeah. I think we got more incest than you would think of in japanese porn and a lot lot more gerontophilia stuff, it's really disgusting. Or so I heard. But we have many funny porn dubs. Is what a friend told me.
I can read the letters, not actually understand what the words mean. It helps a bit, when they use words that sounds similiar to the english or german ones or write specific foreign words in those letters. But for dota or lol rages it isn't enough most of the time.
I'm kind of tempted to buy Telltale's Game of Thrones when it is released. I know it's Telltale and they have been pretty terrible recently when it comes to bugs and stuff. That said I have a weak spot for Game of Thrones universe and who knows maybe this will be one of their good ones again?

Both Walking Dead Seasons and Wolf Among Us were amazing. And Tales Of Borderlands is reviewing really well I think.
Only problem they have is the old engine and save file bugs and they refuse to do anything about them or even comment on them it seems. Though I think it was mostly just the first walking dead.
I'm happy and lucky I didn't get any myself, so I really love all those games I mentioned.
I was really impressed with The Walking Dead Season 1 but didn't feel Season 2 and TWAU were as strong showings. Still nice games which is why I'm interested in GoT and to an extent Tales of Borderlands.

If you buy a Telltale game when it gets released, you're gonna have a bad time. If you absolutely want it fast, wait until episode 2 is released, then start checking the forums to see if people complain that their save games are fucking up from one episode to the next. If the number is acceptable to you, get it. To minimize problems, wait until all five episodes are released.

HoMM6, or rather M&MH6 (why they did that? it's so stupid!) goes on sale fairly regularly, as far as I noticed, M&MX probably will too, but not like we really know.

well turns out my little bro bought evil within from gmg, looks like i just saved some cash! thats good tho, i can save it and see if origin will have dragon age any cheaper since it got garden warfare cheaper yesterday. but evil within isn't appearing in my library even tho my bro and i share our library. whats up with that? hope its not another resident evil 4 thing where even though you can share RE4 it won't appear on his library.

Ha, that's mostly my teenage self speaking. Looking back at it it's kind of fascinating how inflected the language is, you can put words pretty much anywhere you want and leave the hassle of solving the riddle to the recipient. That's probably why it annoyed me so much, as a learner of Latin you're always the recipient.
yea i know thats how it should work but sometimes it doesnt work, its glitched. like RE4 for me. he can't access it but other people don't have that problem. i think Evil Within will have it as well unless he needs to play it at least once before i can install it.
