I still play 3 a lot. Got it from GOG ages ago; so good. It's one of the best LAN games I have other than a WC3 folder I've had since the days of XP
6 is trash by the way. And 3 is still the best Heroes game, which is... Kind of sad, but to be expected with how Ubisoft handles their franchises in recent years.

I dont remember it ever happening a year and half, 2 years ago, but im not going to argue about it since im not 100% sure, and this is a pointless pissing in the wind discussion anyway. You are technically correct, but there was always a element of common sense (like in The Abbey example I just gave...technically, I should wait for the daily on that aswell, but we both know there wont be a daily on The Abbey, which is already 90% off) and it seems that common sense is less present these days, thats all.
which goes with me saying we cant anwser Derp's question on if something will be cheaper or not with any degree of certainty, to loop this around to the start.
Hell, if you want to be really anal about it, then technically, wait for the dailies should really be "wait for price mistakes" since there have been cases of dailies coming back cheaper later

theres a lot of mods to put models from other games on Skyrim (Tera models being popular it seems...not unsurprisingly, dem Castanics). But are there mods that make the third person...playable? Because otherwise I dont see much of a point :/

If you still have that 75% coupon for Shadow Warrior, it's only $1 right now with today's daily deal. Could not resist at that price. Looks like the game comes with a free bonus too: Viscera Cleanup Detail (whatever that is). Passed on the SE though, even though that's only another buck (no coupon needed). I can live without a digital artbook and extra weapons.

cos if it's gameplay, i've yet to see a mod that makes skyrim combat any fun
just overall feel of the third person view, it doesnt feel...proper (in vanilla that is)

Just played it for an hour, and if you aren't sick of the many survival sims that seem to be cropping up through early access, this one looks promising and seems quite focused on survival against nature, as opposed to survival against zombies, bandits, cannibals, etc.
Only Sandbox mode is available right now with 2 maps, and it seems there's going to be an episodic story mode coming in.
I'll be holding off from playing any further until it's out of early access, but if the Steam page is anything to go by, they initially planned to be in early access for 2-3 months when they posted it to Steam in September, so if they're still on track, it can't be much longer.
Oh man, I'm really tempted to pull the trigger on Shadow of Mordor, Wolfenstein, and Lords of Shadow 2. I can't get any of these any cheaper through keys, right? Hmmm. I'd rather avoid making multiple large game purchases since the Winter Seal is coming and it's not like I can play them all. Maybe I'll just go with LoS2 since it's the cheapest.

I don't think a game has ever been discounted past 90% unless it was a price mistake so I think that's generally a pretty good rule when not waiting for a daily..
edit: don't get mad but I'm having trouble finding it on my own but is there a way to see the list of yesterdays dailies/48 hours (they have been replaced on the front page)

Defy is 95% off for the duration of the sale, but it's definitely an exception to the rule.
