Not sure how it sounded in the cutscenes, I have the source files extracted from PS3 release. CBR 128kbit for all of them. I can upload a sample if you want, they are just plain MP3 files with custom Square Enix header with looping data.

You should really take anything from that thread with a grain of salt - some of users here are behaving as if FFXIII killed their parents, and are just grasping at straws trying to find something to fault the game for.

You don't suck, but it's not exactly normal to lose someone every mission - you need to make sure no one dies, the ranks add up a lot towards the end. As mentioned above, having 2 snipers helps a lot. Also, getting the end-game armour early on is extremely important in my opinion.

I lost my only soldier (sniper) midway through Ironman and was so shocked (lol) that I quit playing the game and still haven't gone back. You kind of get attached to them haha.

It's pretty easy to manage, but I can't even remember the ending so it might not be worth the effort.

Not difficult at all, you just need to kill Citizen E 6 times. Worth it? Probably, if you like the game, but you may as well youtube it if you don't want the hassle of searching for Citizen E.
