Considering that I'm going to be using this to tackle my Steam library while at work/on commute here are some videos I made of the GPDwin playing some garmes

Rocket League: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCqanQsdr4I

Skyrim (with Low Spec Gamer settings): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQaL8teDDoE

Ori and The Blind Forest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wi3MrrXZWK4

Speaking of Steam, Call of Duty Warchest is $20.90. It looks like getting games individually and skipping that $200 pack that always comes around will be a better idea. Realistically speaking, how much lower could we anticipate the CoD series getting cheaper on Steam?

Do you guys think we will get some Halloween specials this week? I think its silly to have the specials ON the day or the day before. By the time you get around to playing, Halloween is already over, they should do specials before during the hype and prep for Halloween.

I've been waiting for a discount for The House in Fata Morgana, don't want to give in just yet...

I'm also hoping for COD 1 and 2 (or Warchest) to get cheaper. It's been 10 years already and they should be $5 now but they're not.

Every year I hope that there is a price glitch on the $200 bundle. Perhaps I'll just continue to wait.

Yea I'm aware of that. But I've been holding off for a price glitch XD I'll probably get the individual games soon though as I just keep waiting.

Wasn't the Factorio or Rimworld developer saying the same thing last year?

http://avencolony.com/aven-colony-faq/

It wasn't true then and it's not true now. There are literally hundreds of examples to the contrary in the form of the 50 Greenlight bundles (and counting) that Groupees has hosted, and you can still buy BAGB 50 for another few days.

Edit: Spares:

There already was a price error on it before. It was region locked to SA. Unlikely that you'll see a price error on a game/bundle that had an error before, even if it was in a different region.

Taking a break from God Eater 2: Rage Burst to do a second play-through of Spec Ops: The Line.

Hrmm...I remember the gun-play being better than it is. Maybe it's just that I played a legion of more satisfying shooters in-between play-throughs.

Presentation and story is still top-notch though.

I think some overlays do not mix up well. Steam, Afterburner and now Geforce Experience. Never had any issues before but with GE 3 in the mix, the Steam overlay failed to work on multiple occasions. Not every time which is making it hard to solve it for good.

If it's blue screen crashing your PC it's most likely a hardware issue and not a software on, like for example Just Cause 3 would constantly blue screen crash for me and it was because of my Xbox One wireless adapter.

Sorry for my late response...

No blue screen bro, the other day was playing like 10 minutes, when the red spinning dragon appeared, the game just crashed, then my PC restarted and that's all... I don't know if my old GTS 450 isn't enough for this game, but my PC can run GTA V without any issues...

I feel you on this. I've been trying to get NZXT's CAM going and the display in game seems to have a mind of its own. I like it because the design is so SO much nicer than RivaTuner, but if it doesn't show half the time it's not really worth it.

Just had my library count decrease by 2.

For the sake of my curiosity, if nothing else, it would be nice to know what those two titles were - it's a pity this isn't included on the 'Licenses and product key activations' page.

Finished up Arkham Knight. Took me about 35 hrs but I did a lot of the side stuff. Overall a really good game held back by a few bad things.

Asylum > Origins > Knight > City

If it wasn't for the Batmobile stuff I would probably put Knight ahead of Origins. In the end Asylum and Origins were just more fun. All of them are excellent games regardless.

Bring on the Superman game Rocksteady pls. It must happen.

It's odd - I often can't recall what I did yesterday, or what I'm meant to be doing right now... but I always seem to know my current library count! Steam-related OCD, or something.

How is Steam Link performing these days?
Any updates improving performance?
Will we see an hardware revision?

Wondering how it will work for a PC on WiFi (in the kitchen) where the router is placed by the TV, in the living room.
So signal will go like living room router --> kitchen PC --> living room Steam Link.

I actually quite like Origins, I prefer it over City, and the bosses in Origins were decent compared to both Asylum and City, especially Asylum

Is there any word on a Forza Horizon 3 steam release? I don't mind to wait, as I'm not in the NA region and there may be a slight chance of a reduced price.

I imagine Quantum Break will be the outlier in that regard as it didn't have a PC release at retail prior to the partnership with Nordic. Future WinStore games, I presume, are just going to get store pages out of the blue. If you don't mind waiting, then just wait; the fewer people who buy the game on the WinStore, the greater the probability of a Steam release.

The game itself is 69.5GB (installed, that is). You can't download the cutscenes on PC, likely because the WinStore isn't set up to deliver DLC in any manner other than in-game purchases (shock, awe, etc.) and Microsoft didn't want the Steam version having an extra feature.

How much longer is it going to be before we see news stories about parents being outraged that their children can buy porn on Steam?

Like nobody actually cares about this stuff. If Huniecam failed to make a splash with its characters that look like someone strapped balloons on a 10 year old, this won't either.

felt like playing some witcha 3, that hearthstone dlc is really good so far, they really went all out with the quality of the cutscenes and stuff, and thankfully my no spiders mod seems to be working perfectly

any other mods worth installing?

It's exactly the reason why I'm boding my time with Forza Horizon 3.

On the other hand, these actually look like human beings. Huniecam Studio's characters are an insult to crude doodles. :p

I don't really need a tag, but I figured I'd get one to make people jealous. Is it working?

Just the one that gives the spiders bigger breasts.

So, I've got a question...

One of my wife's favourite games is Gemsweeper, which doesn't work on Win10, even when trying to apply compatibility settings. The only thing I can think of to get it running would be to install a VM running Win7, and then run the game through that. This would probably necessitate installing and running Steam (I'm not sure of the copy protection for Gemsweeper).

Are there any issues with doing this? Would Valve throw a wobbly? Would we have to sign out of Steam on Win10 to get it running properly? Anyone have any experience of this?

Cheers. :)

Seems for the time being you can use virtual machine to run it

It's not possible to run two online instances of Steam concurrently, but if the game is tethered to the client, just use Offline Mode so that the Win7 instance doesn't interfere with your Win10 one. You can force Steam to always launch straight into Offline Mode by opening Steam\config\loginusers.vdf, adding:

Code:
"WantsOfflineMode" "1"
"SkipOfflineModeWarning" "1"

...to the list of cvars and setting the file to read-only. Note that you'll need to make the file writeable again in order for "Go Online" to work.

Sweeeeet. Thanks guys. She's on a Numb3rs binge, but once that's through I think she'll be wanting to play, so will have to sort everything fairly soon. :)
