Update on Paypal

I just sent n8 payment via gift method and there was no fee. Perhaps the fee that others here saw was only for border crossing/currency exchange?

Are you sure no fees? How much am I sending? I just want make sure I'm not screwing someone over.
 
I don't know if it's different for people in other regions but when I send via Paypal, before I confirm the payment it lets me know how much I'm getting charged overall, any applicable fees, and how much they will receive. Just pay attention and it should be fine.

My fee for GBP -> USD was about...oh...five cents. The exchange rate PayPal sets tends to be better than my bank's more often than not anyway.

[EDIT - And yes, using the Gift option.]

Sorry to go back on what I said guys, but I thought about it more and I am removing myself as well. Why? The difference couldn't possibly be more than $2 and that isn't worth bothering someone to host for everyone else. Let's save the hassle on both sides.

Count me out of the group buy as well. I was hoping for $5 at best and they've gone even better.

Not worth it for me to stick around to save $2 as Dice said. Sorry for contributing to the screwing up of the group buy guys.

Is anyone else having problems accepting gifts on Steam? I got my email from Steam for PQ2, click the link, and get an error page.
