In spite of owning MGS HD collection for ages, I haven't finished single game yet, so I'm in the camp of rebuying it on steam if it ever appears here.

I bought only on PS3, but as it is basically close to unplayable, I would gladly buy it on PC too (edited: if it runs better, of course)

Yeah, it DA ran noticeably worse on PS3 compared to vanilla DD on 360. That being said, the PS3 version didn't suffer from the horrible crushed blacks that the 360 version had. I didn't consider it unplayable, but it definitely wasn't close to a stable 30. Always seemed like it was in the low 20s.

I'd have bought Dark Arisen on 360, but my 360 was toast and I wasn't buying another one.

Those months all I played were dragon's dogma, skyrim and bayonetta on the ps3, those were dark times.

Wrong about commas, wrong about everything
I'd also love to see the MGS HD Collcetion on Steam, that might get me interested in MGS V. I only played the first MGS (and Rising) so far, so I doubt I would understand anything in V.

don't even remind me of Bayo on PS3, oh glorious lag *shudders*

edited: actually PS3 Bayo at times is as close to slide show as I ever have seen, I think

Really baffled that Sony chose that of all things to essentially debut Morpheus with.

How else they gonna attract a crowd? Sounds like lowest common denominator to me though >_>;

Speaking of which why are people looking forward to VR, but condemned 3D visuals/option in games?

Really? I completed it on PS3 too, Arisen version, when they gave it for free on Plus.
And I played it without problems, the game was very optimized. The only thing I found crappy was the map.

Seriously? I'm amazed. I have lots of slowdowns there and in general a game almost looks low res at times. Not to mention those damned black borders.

For you.

Very optimized? To this day, it's one of the only games I can't enjoy because of it being so technically terrible. The low res, the black bars, the jaggies, the framerate that would go to shit every now and then...

Play it again after you've got more used to smooth framerates/image quality via PC or X1/PS4. It's bad. Baaaaaad. I can live with some issues if it's the only way but ditched the game for technical reasons. Too ambitious for its time I guess.

150 games and nothing I wanna play. What is wrong with me.

Try http://www.steamroulette.net/

Or, go through your backlog and list up all games you know you eventually want to play (or even complete). Put them in a spreadsheet. And go through them with the beat-and-delete system.
Once you're in that flow of ticking off games you've finished, you can't stop.
(Results may vary. But for me, it works.)

One can not explain the Mountain, one must experience the Mountain.

I would thank you but I am mountain, I am god, I don't concern myself with puny mortals anymore.

Also what is this thing doing with 50% of my CPU power? Even uses all cores. Folding@home for mountain research?

Lol, so it must be this the reason. I'm used to crappy framerate on PC and low settings, when I play PS3 I feel good because they are fluid and visually stunning compared to what I see on my monitor, and I sold my PS4 (I've only played GZ on that) :p

Well, GZ is 60fps, that's 4x more than Dragon's Dogma right there. ;) I hope they do a remake some day.

You're on my
shit
list now.

Come on maybe it's a really good looking CG mountain!
I mean of these poor people live so far away from a mountain and don't want to risk climbing or driving up one!
Let them have their King of the Mountain fantasy amigo~

It was on disc? Because I had zero problems, the only thing that bored me what that pawn stuff, and then I dropped the game during the end-game after defeating the dragon, because I had tons of game to do and I was tired :p

ya, on disc. It shouldn't make such a difference, though.
OTOH I'm really particular about my action games running smoothly, can't do anything about it, it's just how I roll. (><)

well, it seems I'm not buying mountain anytime soon, even if I'm #teammountain, no, not Clegane, but Captain Kirk one.
Thanks for letting me know!

That feel when you've been idling for almost a day and only sold a handful of cards.

A total of £1 profit.

I played MGS4 at launch (well, a little later as I pre-ordered it on Play-Asia, so I had to wait for it to arrive) and at the time I thought the comments about the closing cinematic were just hyperbolic exaggerations, but it did indeed run for about 50 minutes.

I really enjoyed MGS4, but I remember plowing through the game one night to finish it up and thinking "whew, finally beat it....the end is soon".

NOPE

Ok, so I had too much time and too little sense so I made a little thing there, like I did some months ago. Evidently now that the OP is spotlighting some games my thing is not as cool. You be the judge, I had some fun making it for myself, why not share it ? If it annoys anybody, it will go the way of the dodo, if people like it it will maybe come back or I could make a little thread. Well, anyways, it's time for the picture porn.

~ What will you be playing this September ? ~

Never heard of The Masterplan but the trailer looks awesome. Wish listed.

I played MGS4 six times (but when they added trophies I've only played it two times, I really don't want to do again the painfull Big Boss emblem), the first time I reached the ending I was so excited...then after 30 minutes I was just bored, because it never ends :D

Also the only thing I hate from the game is the "cooking egg" section. I really don't know why Kojima added those.

I remember I had to leave to go somewhere and beat the game with 45 minutes or so to go before I had to set off, I think I was late getting out by the time the ending had finished.

Need Mountain Waifu VN
in VR

Still didn't get Mountain to work with my Rift despite it being tagged as VR-compatible <_<'

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is soooo good btw. I have a lot more fun with it than I ever had with Mario Kart 8 for some reason. I should sell the latter I think, haven't touched it since release.

Could someone borrow me two TF2 keys? I would return them on Friday and I will give lots of CSGO sticker capsules that sell for 0.8€ as guarantee.

New inventory notification ... cool, new stuff! Booster pack for (I think) Shank 2. I'm not super interested, but hey let's check it out anyway.

It's gone. WTF? Something appears in my inventory and I can't for the life of me find it. Tried on two different PCs, in both the client and website, tried searching. Nope, not there.

Very odd.

As much as I like Racing Transformed and I pimp it a lot, I'd still want to get a Wii U for MarioLuigi Kart 8...and you prob. shouldn't cuz ya know

When it happened to me last time, booster pack reappeared days later. Usually it takes minutes or hours, as I found out on steam boards. It's just a bug.

MGS4 almost made me lose my love for the series.

Besides that hopefully I can wrap up this raid mode soon with Soma in RE: Revelations. It's not mad but EXP is far too stingy in that game. It's not as good as Mercs.

Wonder what they're doing with REV2. Thankfully only a week to see the game playable. That and REmake next year make me happy.

I thought Metro 2033 redux was half price seeing as I own the normal 2033 & last light?

Went to buy it last night and it's priced at £16.99 instead of £8

Anyone else purchased at half price?
