Yup, 1440p and g-sync will be fine. Any other spec I should be looking for?
Just reading the "For the PC gamers, how often do you 'max out' your games?" thread
Can someone explain the hate for AA, Chromatic Aberation, Motion blur and depth of field?
I wasn't aware of such a choice, I'm still on episode 1.
Great, no point playing FX2 anymore, not that I played it a lotYes and there's one free table (same as FX2).
There's also Acer XB271HU. I'm pretty sure they are all using the same panel, pick one with the best warranty and return policy. Beware of the back light bleed.Yup, 1440p and g-sync will be fine. Any other spec I should be looking for?

I always turn on CA (well, almost always), AA, DOF, MB and Vsync - fight me!

[edit] Whoa, €700 for a ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q. I guess I do have the money for it next month though.
Nice. It has cards, too.
I got a foil but I think it was for one of the lowest selling Sakura games

So I saw this on reddit and thought it was funny

Enabling MSAA these days will annihilate any possibilities of having decent performance. Besides, MD is *very* demanding on Ultra.Speaking about graphical settings, i tested GTX 1080ti, changed only GPU (old one was GTX 770). Turned on every feature and settings to ultra, and after comparing benchmark results i guess i did right thing that didn't bought 4K monitor. Even 1080ti can't handle stable 60FPS with all shit enabled in most graphically demanding games.
For example, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (Ultra settings, MSAA x4):
GTX 770
Average: 23.6 FPS
Min: 7.9 FPS
Max: 30 FPS
GTX 1080ti
Average: 50.1 FPS
Min: 7.9 FPS
Max: 62.2 FPS
Rise of the Tomb Raider (Ultra, SSAA x4):
GTX 770
GTX 1080ti
Far Cry Primal
GTX 770
Average: 29 FPS
Min: 38 FPS
Max: 62.2 FPS
GTX 1080ti
Average: 73 FPS
Min: 47 FPS
Max: 90 FPS
System specs except GPU remains the same, CPU i5-3507k and 8gb DDR3, DX11, 1920x1080. Not sure if CPU and memory are bottleneck in this case, but personally i just got confirmation that it's not the right time to upgrade for 4K and better wait another 2-3 years for new GPU and monitors generations.
Who does say that?

I just received my Steam Link. And if Steam starts up in BPM on my desktop when I start it up on the Steam Link, then why in the hell did I buy a Steam Link... I bought the Steam Link to get around the program starting up in BPM on my desktop...
I already have my desktop PC connected to my TV through HDMI.
So is this really it? I can't start up Steam on the Steam Link without it taking up the whole monitor on my PC? If Steam would just stay in the tray then that would be alright.
This is some useless shit. Fuck! =(
*Unplugs Steam Link and throws it in the trash*
I must be half-dumb since I know it's a "streaming box," but I had really hoped to circumvent having to have Steam in BPM on my PC ugh.
Did you guys order yours?
I think the fault is partly my own, but I guess I was hopeful.Yeah, the Steam Link literally just streams your PC's video out. That's all it does. It doesn't act as a second monitor or anything. If you have your PC connected to the TV, there's no point in owning one.
I've seen a lot of people not be able to understand the Link or its purpose and I wonder if Valves marketing is too confusing or something. It's a super simple product, does one thing really well.
