Hmm, with all this talk about Payday 2 I could see myself trying the first one. For the plot. Alone. Forever alone. Still haven't played L4D2 too...
Those aren't games worth playing by yourself.

Eliza should hit skullgirls this week. Unless I'm misremembering.
You know what developers should do when they put an update on Steam?
Post the release notes.
Come on, how hard can it be.
I would host SkullGAF lobbies and streams, but no one wants to play anymore. At least SteamGAF still plays SF4

Set something up for the weekend. I'll be up for that.
We should all just play as Eliza for a night.
I fear the answer to this question but... harder than Manus or Black Dragon ? :-/
Is there a flowchart on how to get all the Payday music on Steam? Basically what DLC do I need to buy.
*highfives*Edit. Bros of teh black & white clan, Chariot !
anywhere to get the evil within for cheap ?
holy fucking shit that game is 60€
i'm never ever going to buy a game for that price unless it's space engine meets starbound meets mount & blade meets vampire the masquerade meets deadly premonition meets killing floor meets dark souls meets metal gear solid
Well there was the 25% voucher on gmg but hasn't it expired now ?

Anyone has recommendations for conquest games? I want to have a map with different areas and I want to conquer them one by one. This can be a risk-like game, something deeper like the Total War games or even something like Saints Row IV. I just want to conquer shit.
Games I already have: Risk: Factions, Total War Games, Divinity: Dragon Commander, Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron, Crusader Kings 2.
I do, but I also don't like the GTA series anymore since I played Saints Row.Do you have San Andreas yet?
Salsa's becoming the new Maneil99, only with 3DS instead of Origin.

Windows 10 Technical Preview coming soon http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/preview-coming-soon
I haven't played it but reviews are good, so it's worth the price for sure.
I gave it a try recently. It has a pretty unique setting and theme for an action / tower defense game. The whole northern wilds / lumberjack hero theme hasn't really been done before to my knowledge. However I found that I lost interest pretty quickly. This is obviously a matter of taste, but I consider stuff like attack animations, hit reactions, and the general feel of combat to be of high importance in an TD action game. In something like Orcs Must Die 2 it's really freaking satisfying to crunch up a row or orcs with a well placed trap, or to blast a bunch of them with one ability or another. Sang-froid was terrible at this in my opinion, just running back and forth across a very stark map, to have really limp feeling encounters with a few only moderately well animated wolves. Had some neat ideas with the planning for each night's battles, but when the actual meat and potatoes was so unsatisfying I lost any desire to retry battles, which is usually a key part of TD games.
An interesting take on the tower defense genre, by the way I experienced a few annoying glitches and I found it to be extremely linear, anyhow at that price you may try it out if you're into TD games.
Sub-Zero apparently killed one of the Uruks who killed me in Shadow of Mordor, I didn't even know that mechanic was in the game.
Unrelated shot

When in doubt mash it outCool I'm looking forward to it even though I suck at Skullgirls.
Salsa always endorsed 3DS though, not a new thing

Dear Steam User,
Steam will soon be priced in Canadian Dollar!
If your Steam wallet has any money in it on October 7th, 2014 (Pacific Time), your U.S. Dollar balance will be converted to the Canadian Dollar, at a conversion rate dictated by market value at the time of conversion.
To view your account balance, simply log into your Steam client or the Steam website at http://www.steampowered.com. Once you have logged in, you will see your balance in the upper-right corner next to your account name.

So here I sit with two 3DSXLs, fretting over minor details about what system transfer does and doesn't transfer

more fun than dnfAsscreed as the worst game ever? Please. At least it's fucking competently made and has collision, actual AI, and some form of quality control at times.
Protip: never let parents buy a game they see at the store because "the box art looks cool."

Is that the new name for Win 9 or are they just skipping 9 all together?

Just when I'm going to start State of Decay, the Payday 2 DLC comes out.
dammit.
Tiny Tina is worth getting, that's probably the best of them. Mileage may vary with the others.Borderlands 2 on Linux is a nice surprise. Should I buy just the base game or are the DLC worth it?
