This is not true at all. Runs fine on my AMD card.
I forgot, do Flash Sales show up again at the end of the sale? Or if I see something on the Flash Sale I need t pick it up right then?

Woke up and saw my last Metro LL order canceled. Steam sale is over. RIP.
There's no 'here are all the flash sales again' thing at the end. But they'll show up as daily deals or again as flash sails if everything works like the last few times.

You can choose between them.
No I woke up this morning and had 4 coupons in my inventory. Not sure where they came from, havent even crafted a summer badge yet.
Well thanks for your recommendation. Can't wait to go all Braveheart on my enemies lolYeah I recommended it over Chivalry in on of your topics. If you prefer singleplayer then Warband is definitely the best fit for you of those, I'm not a fan because I'm not good with open worlds and such but you can make huge armies and siege castles and perform in tournaments and do political stuffs and all kinds of fun stuff with Mount and Blade's singleplayer.
When you try the MP just keep in mind you probably won't do very well at first (depending on if there are a lot of newbs in the server with you), but if you keep at it you'll get a lot better at the combat and it becomes extremely satisfying after a while! Also, for MP, switch to manual blocking or you're screwed lol. I haven't done SP in a while so not sure if its better to have auto blocking for that, since the NPCs hit a lot faster but have more predictable attacks that the computer blocks more easily.
Hey everyone. Looks like the Enhanced Steam server beefed up considerably overnight, and the server move is done. If anyone is still having problems with any of the API calls, let me know (pricing history not showing, etc)
We'll see how it holds up in a few more hours when everything gets crazy.
Is football manager a good game for people who don't actually like football?
This may sound dumb but I really like sim or management games so it may still be for me? Do I need to know teams or anything like that? (I do know the basic rules of the game?)
Is Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale worth $8?
That's 60% off.
I don't buy many games like that, but it has me really intrigued for some reason.
Is it possible it will hit 75%?

Oh god, I've never played a PC game until last week and I just impulse bought like 5 games. Valve, what have done!
So whatever happened to that guy yesterday that kept getting all the games from Modbot and being arrogant? He eventually get banned?

Excellent game. Just wait until the last day of the sale. If it doesn't hit more than 60% off, buy it then.
Yes, I'd say the possibility is fairly high. Wait.
Carpe Fulgur games could be a flash sale.
If it hasn't been discounted on the last day you could still buy it, it's really good.
It's had a deeper discount during past sales, so I'd wait.
Edit: Kindasorta beaten.

Civ 5 for $7.50 or Civ 5 Gold Edition for $12?
I'm amazed that people use AMD cards for anything other than Bitcoin mining these days.
I never played Crackdown, but I'd say it's more like that than GTA. It's awesome either way.
I don't care much for GTA and enjoyed SR3. It's definitely worth 5 bucks.
absolutely
YAY
for the love of god YAY
I never even played whored mode until the other night and ...yeah, I've been missing out. Its the cherry on the top of a redonkulous sundae.
I'd say yes
SR3 is about running around naked, delivering nutshots to civilians in furry suits and beating down luchador gangsters with a giant dildo
If that makes you chuckle, SR3 is for you

Well I made started posting regularly in June, in the Last of Us Review ThreadHey, how the hell did you get member statues so quick? I've made nearly 500 posts over nearly 3 months and I'm still a junior, and you post 100 posts and and barely a week later you're a full member?!

I hope you wife is feeling better now and I hope it was nothing too serious fellow GAFfer.

Just the regular in my opinion, all the DLC you'd want to would be G&K and/or BNW. That being said, I'm thinking about getting the Gold Edition upgrade now, but I've logged over 80 hours in the game.

What's with the typo in the thread title? WTF is Steam?
Nah nothing serious at all, but thanks for the kind words!
I hope that's the case for me too, if I ever end up getting it.Civ 5 turned me into a strategy fan.

If you really like sim management it might not be that bad, but you will be expected to understand formations and pretty detailed soccer/football information as far as positions, attacking, defending, tactics, etc. I'd say no, you should avoid it if you don't like or understand soccer/football - but it's a well-made game.
Remember the golden buying rules during steam sales, don't buy unless it's a special deal (daily, flash) or the last day. Got Civilization 5 Gold for a tenner.
Ah, good to know fellow GAFfer!
Also, this one is oldie but goodie:
