So for someone that played the entirety of Borderlands 1 alone (I was detoxing from WoW and didn't want to game with anyone) and loving every single second of it, even putting Crawmerax on farm,

Should I get Borderlands 2 if I don't plan on playing with anyone?

If you loved the first, you'll likely enjoy the second one. I had a blast playing by myself but the game really shines when you play with some pals.

I'd recommend you get the season pass too as the four dlcs are worth it.

BTW The game takes some time to get into but then it is like crack.

The collection has grown significantly since then. Most indie games these days come out for all platforms and there are also a couple of bigger titles. Paradox especially seems to be pushing for multiplatform. Hell Europa Unversalis will be out on the Mac day 1.
