You sold me, I picked up the pack (Bionic Commando '09 and Rearmed) for $5. Just realized I still have the 360 version of Bionic Commando in the shrink and have never tried it. Always seemed neat, looking forward to see how it plays.

You can use any US-based address, though you want to avoid states that charge sales tax on digital goods. I myself use the address of Google's CA-based HQ.

I'm contemplating picking up Civ V. I've never played played a 4X game before and I'm not much interested in multiplayer at the moment. I also just picked up Shogun 2, which seems to have a similar overworld structure, but I haven't played past the tutorial yet.

What's the verdict on Civ V? Is it a must have? Am I missing out having not played a 4X game before, or is it more of a niche thing? And if I do pick it up, is it worth going for the Gold Edition?

Civ V is great, there's no better introduction to the genre and you'll know if it's your thing when you get sucked in for hours. I think the consensus is that the Gold Edition is pretty much a must buy.
