Steam Summer Sale 2013 Thread #3 - Many questions answered in the OP's FAQ

Just beat the Swapper. Good game. Wondered about the achievements so I googled ....then I got pissed off. Not that they are all secret, but that they are all so hidden you would have no idea they even exist or any way to go about searching for them on your own. There's no point to that.

Since there's nothing interesting I might just grab some Sleeping Dogs' interesting DLCs. Can anyone remind me which are worth getting and which one I should avoid if I don't want free money or game breaking stuff for suckers?

Just noticed I have Civ V, not sure from where maybe it was gifted and I forgot. I tried Civ IV before and had a hard time getting in to it. Should I upgrade my Civ V to gold or get Sins? Looks like it'll be the same price either way unless the gold upgrade will be cheaper if Civ V wins the community vote.

Civ V has been vastly improved by Gods and Kings and post launch patches, which I assume you will have. BNW also looks to continue the trend, to the point where it's almost a different game.

I haven't played Sins yet to know on it, though.

he asked if he could have a card, I said I didn't have any (didn't have any in my inventory, but had one on the market) then he started talking about how I had a card on the market and how I needed to give it to him. I'm not gonna give 15 cents to some weirdo.
My brother! Us capitalists need to stick together. Fuck the socialists!

Finally, the Sleepy Dogs DLC are 75% off. Boughten and boughten.

And meh-ish on the Skyrim DLC deals. Don't think they'll go lower than Nuuvem tbh.

DmC is a great game even though it might need to drop a little lower. Rising Storm can kiss my ass though. $9.99 for a glorified add-on? Fuck that noise.

Illness is the doctor to whom we pay most heed; to kindness, to knowledge, we make promise only; pain we obey.
I'd buy DmC for €10 or less. But Mark of the Ninja will be mine.

Mark of the Ninja is tempting but I only have $6 or so left in my wallet... ahhh

May go ahead and get it, I dunno, I've heard nothing but good things about it.

50% off for a 6 month old release ain't bad at all.
$25 for a game that is 6 months old during a summer sale is most defiantly disappointing.

Should of at least been 66% off. I got Tomb Raider, Crysis 3 and Dead Space 3 under $20 this year, all released within 6 months ago. Hell, i got Bioshock Infinite for $30 not 2 weeks after release. 50% is just disappointing to me, i guess it's not bad for some but it's been cheaper in the past month through Gamefly/GMG w/ code.
