I wanna give a huge thanks to Dani_dc for gifting me Assassin's Creed 2. Out of the blue, this was a beautiful surprise. Thanks a lot man :)

Yeah I guess I already own the vast majority of what I want on Steam, so bar some very big discounts or very recent games, I'm not going to buy a lot of stuff..

What were the 'games' in the previous sales? I remember way more stuff to do. I might be wrong.

---
Perfect opportunity to see what I've bought!

For gifts:
Remember Me, 24€
(not done with gifts yet!)

Lolol maybe I'll snag it if I'm home in time then!

And he's my wife's brother, my sister married a very cool doctor.
He's a doctor? That's great. For real.

Going to bed now. Ready to sleep through amazing flash sales and community votes (right).

Also, in my (admittedly quite short) experience with Chivalry so far, I've found the tactical emotes to be quite valuable in sort of rounding up pub players as a whole and getting them focused on a task, especially the "Go for the objective" one (default Z + 5), and the "Stand your ground" one if you're defending something (default Z + 6). People actually seem to respond to those pretty well.

I think Brotherhood is the best one, if you like ACII.

It's Revelations that didn't need to exist.

ACIII is at least split, though I'm on the thumbs down side, myself.

They usually can't hear them when I'm around because I scream so much.

I think people respond better to "AGATHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGHHHHHH" though.

Good point, and don't give up if there are only 2 minutes on an objective and all is failing. Somehow everyone starts going into macho mode and pulls together at the last second.

how much does lag matter?

I had a bit of lag on Warband, as I tend to get when I join international servers (doubt it has any local presence), but it was manageable since the game wasnt exactly all about twitch gameplay

The screams do confer a great deal of drive and enthusiasm :D

I imagine it does play a pretty significant part like in most MP games, though I'm not personally sure as I tend to ping pretty well.

There's Brazilian Servers, dog.

I think you'd be fine.

Haha :D

The emotes are great too. I love the screeching, comically desperate "Help!" cry.

"Heeelllp! I need helllp!!"

The base mechanics are so simple and fun then on top of that you've got the emotes and the innate urge to scream battle cries over your mic because this is the closest you'll ever get to being a medieval warrior it's hard to see why anybody wouldn't want the game.

To me it's the most fun I've had since I was playing Half-Life multiplayer mods. It's a weird comparison but I could imagine playing it solidly for years straight like I did The Specialists, or NS, or CS, or the crazy RPG mods. I just wish I had more time to play it.

oh that's cool

idk about FINE since we ping much better with Argentina and even Chile, but it'll be better than US servers for sure

I already own the game so its not like I need convincing, I just need to launch it already :p

The consensus from the Steam thread is both are good games and worth playing, especially for that price.

also you barely understand what they say in the chat/mic, which is boring in multiplayer games.

Play Strike Suit. It's a good game.

And so is Dyad.
