Minecraft is $26.95. And well worth it.
... just kidding.

Are you being sarcastic? So many people yesterday were saying it was garbage that I passed on it.
I bought the Casino Nights dlc for Sonic Generations for half a dollar assuming it was a new level since the title doesnt state otherwise
turns out it's just a mini-game casino themed pinball table

I wouldnt go warrying about the card being dead yet, First thing i would do is test a Game that similarly graphiclly ddemading and c if that works..... if it does its most likely something to do with the setting's on ur pc in the nvidia Panel.... make sure its all set to use the games setting no overrides and ect, Also if ur Card is overclocked at all even a stock overlock try underclocking it to the stock clocks, And then after that i think reinstalling drivers and ect just as a check.....
How much was Alan Wake when it was on sale? I can't believe I missed that... anyone know if the sale was going on before I started with Steam?
Tried checking the integrity of the game through Steam?
always wanted to try terraria so I jumped on dat deal
I'm a little biased, but I'd say so.
Also as a reminder, all three of our games have demos available! If you're on the fence about our games, please, try out the demos first! They are there for a reason!
OK Steam..now that is EVERYONE. Happy?
I bought the pack on BLIND FAITH.
Believe.
OK Steam..now that is EVERYONE. Happy?
Trying now.
edit: says all files validated.

Just spend another good hour or so with Metro 2033. The game has a bit of a slow start, but man, I just went through the Dead City. The atmosphere in this game is absolutely excellent. Definitely don't regret this purchase.
Also voted for The Darkness II because it's the only game worthwhile between the three.
Since we're over halfway there...I'm curious how other people are faring when it comes to the games they wanted to pick up. Have you been able to get what you wanted for the right price already, or are you waiting for better deals/the last day?
(...Did you even make a list before the event at all? Have you just been impulse buying everything and anything?)
This is mine:
crossed off the list
Q.U.B.E.
Trine 2
will buy
Dark Void Zero
Satazius
Splice
A Virus Named Tom (not technically part of the summer sale, but currently 50% off)
might buy
Adventures of Shuggy
Waves
Blocks That Matter
Diamond Dan
it could happen, maybe
Season of Mystery: The Cherry Blossom Murders
Fortix 2
Waveform
Cogs
only if dropped to 50-75% off
Krater
Yosumin!
The only purchases that I didn't plan on making pre-sale were Terraria and Binding of Isaac. If Krater gets to 50% that'll be another.
Yeah... I missed it. Fuck.It has been a flash deal on the 2nd day and later as daily deal. Was 75% off.
Still not reason enough. Minecraft 1.0 for the original price should be an offer as-well.Well, it did get more features as time went on.

*votes for Fable 3*
What? I liked it.
Oh fuck yeah, glad to hear you're enjoying it! I have so much shit to play (I NEED TO PLAY JOURNEY NOW!) but I really want to play Metro 2033 the first thing I do tomorrow morning!Just spend another good hour or so with Metro 2033. The game has a bit of a slow start, but man, I just went through the Dead City. The atmosphere in this game is absolutely excellent. Definitely don't regret this purchase.

To be honest, I only own deadly shadows but haven't played it beyond the first tutorial mission. I'd say the consensus is that the second one is the best of them all, but only buy it if you're not bothered by aged 3d graphics. Deadly shadows is seemingly regarded also as a quality game, and a more recent one in regards to visuals. Also, no one has anything to say about the Thief games? About to fly blind on Deadly Shadows T.T
Waiting for the last day to pick up these gems:
Dreamkiller
Light of Altair
Mafia
Disciples 3
Broken Sword
Clash of Heroes
That treehouse is gonna burn.
From summerseal.Where is everyone getting Trine 2 discounts from? Please excuse my ignorance...I hear mention of a wheel...
That's the one I want to buy! I have 2 and 3 from before they released the first game on steam, so I got it on DS instead but...DS....Awwww yeah.
Make sure to play the original version first.
<,< We're not making fun of you... we're just amazed over the fact that there's something on this planet that goes up in price and it keeps getting purchased. That's insane.
Oh sure, I'm testing the shit out of this card before I do anything about it, even trying it on another computer.
But all signs point to it being dead. It just started displaying this symptoms constantly yesterday, but I had some crashes to desktop/computer locking up multiple times before.
Also, when the computer locks up, when I reboot it shows these lines of !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on the boot-up process, and culminates into Windows locking up in a blue screen with Pink squares between the white letters. Classic fried videocard behaviour.
I'll put it through the paces tomorrow, be sure of it.
I never said by any means it's bad or a horrible game that should die in a fire. Just that the price cannot be justified and the game itself is not as special as everyone is making it to be.
There is NO other game with the amount of freedom that Minecraft gives you. There is no other game that gives you the amount of freedom to completely and utterly alter the game world for you and others.Especially when there are games out there that are literally 20 times better than Minecraft, in terms of overall experience (story, characters, mechanics, gameplay, etc...).

Broken Sword? BROKEN SWORD?!Broken Sword
It's not a game issue, it's a graphics drive issue.
Now listen to me, and go to an older driver, one back.
Try googling "Crysis Shadercache". Can't remember where the cache is located off the top of my head right now but deleting it allows the game to rebuild it upon re-launch.
Edit: you want to delete the whole "shaders" folder. For the retail version it's located at: My Documents\My Games\Crysis
Anyway, even if that's not the issue, deleting the shadercache won't have any detrimental effect on the game. Like I said, it'll rebuild it automatically. Be warned, it'll look a little strange at next launch.

YES, oh god yesCounter Strike Source is the last Valve game that needs a sale right?
Haha no problem.edit: Thanks for the reminder Tess3ract!!

Like, you have no idea how fucking amazing Broken Sword II is! Can't wait to start playing it again :3 Last time was on the PS1~Haha no problem.
Yeah, I'm aware it's infected with SecuROM. But lazy-ass Capcpom has no plans to remove it even though they acknowledge it's onerous and unnecessary. Hoping they'd patch it out was the sole reason I waited this long.Dark void zero has like the worst drm ever.
Just sayin'.
I have one of these too, but it's got too many things that are still priced too high (or not available for purchase at all yet) so I had to make a subset. The only list I had before the sale was my wishlist.
