Beast Legacy, thank you SO much for this gift! Now I'll definitely see if this game is the masterpiece everyone's been talking about!

DEFCON - Thanks friend who isn't on GAF!
Space Rangers 2: Reboot - Thanks friend who isn't on GAF!

As long as I can make it through today and tomorrow's recap without buying anything else, I think I can consider this Steam Sale a success and not feel shameful about how many games I bought.

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?
Welp back at work. Time to stare at this thread for a while.
Haha, I love it! I remember you saying like "Well, time to go home. Thanks for the entertaining guys."

And now you're going to work again :lol

edit: I'll try and be as active as possible when I start working in 14 hours ._.

oh man Rochard looks and sounds awesome nooooooooo

Rochard is actually really good. One of the few games I picked up during the Winter Sale that I actually played all the way through and beat. Kind of shameful that actually playing a Steam game is a selling point thanks to these sales, but it's true!

Did I mention that I have close to 60 Hours in there and only just started my 2nd play through - I think the devs provided free DLC and added a lot of stuff. Bounty Hunters etc. Oh and they seem like genuinely nice guys that deserve your money.

Take a read of this. From the 2nd post down.

I read pretty much all of it. I can sympathize with them (It is actually bringing up some painful memories of my own development). One main but off-topic thing I got out of it was a bit more anger at steam for being generally awful with there admission process.

Still, it's an incredibly story. Regardless, I'm going to go ahead and buy it. I think from what I've seen the game warrants a purchase on it's own merits.

I've done nothing with my life except eat and fap
I bought this piece of shit game Krater because of its soundtrack and but when I downloaded it there were ONLY FUCKING MP3s. Hate Fatshark, stupid assholes. Almost every fucking soundtrack I bought on Steam is lossless, take cue, idiots.

ARGH.

sorry, I'm really pissed

Well I guess no Analogue or Splice for me. I was hoping they might be part of the last Indie Bundle and I have no hope for the flash sales. :(

Since these Steam threads seem to be full of Ys lovers, I'm going to ask, as a person who's never played a Ys game before, should I start with Origin or Oath in Felghana?

And your room mate is Master Hand...? That sounds awesome or potentially some other word.
The whole cast is in my room :3

edit: Listening to the Bastion ending song + GAF while in bed... Life is complete.

I tell my self they'll be surprisingly good but deep inside I know we'll just get Saints Row 3, Just Cause 2 and Amnesia again.

Anything cheap for OSX I should pick up? I only bought Assasins Creed 2, this sale, i don't play alot of games and this will keep me busy for a few weeks.

I do run bootcamp but for just playing in short bursts it's too much of a hassle to reboot twice.

Despite having yet played Origins, Oath in Felghana is pretty damn fantastic. Both have great soundtracks, actually all of them do!

I'm not in your room man.

I meant to add a bunch of people to my friends list, but I can't remember where it got really hectic in the last thread. Can someone tell me which page? I know it was like yesterday or Friday.

Or just put your steam ID at the end of your posts duders. Starting now.

Yeah, about 130$ spent on this sale. :) It was worth it however, even if I missed out on SSFIV AE while I had the chance or wasn't home to finally buy Half Life anthology+orange box for PC at 75% off. XD

Since this is my first Steam summer sale I've been following, what is there to expect on this last day? I know the OP mentions recap, but what does that mean?

Forgive my inexperience!
