Voting gets user cards, so they have a reason to check back every 8 hours. They'll have to scroll down every time, and dailies and flash deals get more exposure.

I get what you're saying, but that to me sounds like a bunch of people that wouldn't really buy anything either way.

But I guess what I really want from Steam is to actually promote stuff that would benefit from it more. It should be in their responsibility, but yet they only seems to cater to one type of audience, and everything else has to step aside to the million copy sellers.

Man, i still want to get Metal Gear Rising but I'm close to my self set spending-limit and still hope to see Assetto Corsa as a daily/flash.

Maybe you guys can help me, is AC well playable with a controller or is this more of a hardcore sim were a driving wheel is mandatory? Would it scratch an itch to play a game like Forza (in terms of playability and career mode) or should i be looking at GRID Autosport instead?

You're meant to die a lot in the beginning. You can upgrade your abilities permanently each time you die which let's you get a little farther every time.
