Is Bad Company 2 worth 7,50 it if you only play the single player? Not much of a multiplayer fan.
If you are not going to play online, definitely not. The SP is pretty bad and BF is all about multiplayer.

So have people figured out how to get the ticket for Super Meat Boy? I´m not going to push myself to get A+ on all Hell Levels if that´s not even enough.

Thank you. I have another issue with half life. This may seem like a strange complaint but my character seems to be zipping across the screen, moving way too fast. Is there anyway to adjust, maybe the mouse settings?

That's just the Quake-iness coming through :)

I didn't even complete the last two missions, but it was pretty weak. Some enjoy it, but I personally disliked the story and especially the characters. The guns and destruction were appealing, but they're never used in a very interesting way. Overall, it felt like it tried to deliver a Call of Duty-like experience, but it was dull in comparison to those games.

None of my friends have magicka, still worth it as a single player experience?

Yes, to experience the magic spell casting system alone (play the base game and buy the vietnam DLC on top of it if you like the system, the other stuff isnt necessary)

I liked the single player a lot. I think it's worth $7.50. It's pretty much CoD-style over-the-top scenarios, but less scripted.

I don't agree with this at all. Single players is the best of all the curent war FPS's.

Decided to pick up Magicka Complete, since that was definitely on my list.

Day 1 (06/30/11):
Back to the Future Complete ($12.49)
Lead & Gold ($1.50)
Medal of Honor ($10.19)

Day 2 (7/01/11):
Just Cause 2 + All DLC ($7.22)

Day 3 (7/02/11):
Magicka Complete Pack ($8.49)

Anyone have an opinion on Garshasp: The Monster Slayer? It's one of the ticket achievements today and I'm wondering whether it's worth the 2.50 or terrible like people said Alien Breed was :O

You have to clear all of level 4 (light and dark versions) in under a certain amount of time. It works out to be way harder than just A+ on all of them.

Going to bite on Half Life Complete. I'm really late to the party, and haven't played them asides from the demos. Hopefully I'm in for a treat.

I'll let you know what I think of it later once it's installed and I've played it a bit. Garshasp is a game I've been morbidly curious about for a while now.

It's 495 seconds total across all light and dark world levels on Ch. 4 Hell. I don't know if there are Warp Zones in Hell but if there are they don't count towards it. It's way under what is required for A+ on all levels.

I dunno, I preferred Bad Company 1's campaign. It wasn't exactly stellar, but the large maps and respawning made it more remarkable than most military action shooters. In the sequel, I thought they focused too much on creating a script heavy, linear shooter to attract the CoD crowd and the game was unremarkable as a result. It's tolerable for the 5-6 hours that it lasts, but you'll probably forget the entire experience by the time you wake up the next day.

Trying that sounds like a good way to start hating Super Meat Boy. Team Meat fails. I´m don´t feel like bothering with that effort for something this trivial.

For what its worth I hated Modern Warfare 2 and Black ops and loved BC2.

How do you resend a gift? I gifted Back to the Future to a friend but he didn't receive it in his email?
I think you need to wait 24 hours to resend a gift.
Tell him to check his spam folder.

Anyone selling me on Darksiders please? I'd mostly look for a reason why I should play Darksiders instead of Zelda. (Dont mention the theme&artstyle, its not what I mean) Are the puzzles interesting? Good twist to the fighting mechanics? Deep dungeon mechanics?
The Zelda comparisons are referring to the way the main character, War, grows more powerful through new equipment and power-ups rather than experience or skill points, and the combat system, which feels like a merging of Zelda and God Of War, rather than quality - try as it might, it's not quite as good as Ocarina Of Time or Twilight Princess.

But, then again, very few games are, and Darksiders is triple-A where it counts - tight, responsive controls, impressively drawn (not designed) graphics with a stable framerate and no tearing to speak of, and a booming soundtrack fitting for a game set after the biblical Apocalypse.

The only thing I'd criticize the game for is that it's as derivative as you'd expect a Zelda clone to be, but at least it's not as linear as GoW. Going back to previous areas with new abilities is both possible and worthwhile, with plenty of secrets afoot. It's not a short game, either, and will keep you busy for a good while.

I think there's a demo out for it, though I'm not sure if it's available on Steam. You night want to have a look around for it.

Star Wars: KOTOR not working for anyone else?

Win7/64.

or do I simply need to search for mods to make it work?

Haven't tried it myself but someone earlier in the thread reported that it worked fine on Win7/64. You might try a driver check.

And you have to not only beat all levels, but have A+ on them?

If you can get that time without having all the A+'s, then it should still unlock, but you would have to be pretty good to beat levels fast enough for that.

KOTOR works great with my win7/64. One solution might be to start it in windowed screen and then select fullscreen. Also do enable widescreen for it as well. That might help as well.

Hm, thought Battlefield was about having more freedom then COD. Will be skipping this one then, saving my money for a better sale.

That's how Half-Life plays. You'll get used to it quickly.

I sent it 2 days ago. What are the exact steps I need to do to resend a gift?

On the SteamClient, go on Games and then Manage Gifts and Guess passes.

You should be able to resend it there.

I'm having a hard time with this Magicka ticket. I can't host as the game crashes during the loading of the game and every game I join I lose connection.

People shouldnt be on the edge to buy it for 5$. Great game, long game.
I only have like 30 bucks to spend, so that's the only reason I'm second guessing a $5 game.

I'm watching the Quick Look on Giant Bomb, and with your recommendation, I think I'll pick it up.
