The second one doesn't suffer from the repetition of the same mission that the first game did, if you enjoyed the gameplay mechanics and the level of detail in the world then AC 2 is worth picking up.Heysoos said:Hmm. What's the general consensus on Assassin's Creed 2? I tried AC1, but I didn't find it very fun, couldn't even finish the game on the 360, got boring quick. Is it more of the same?

How can you even consider buying games if you have less than $30 in your bank account?
Green Scar said:AC1 is poor, but AC2 is one of the best games Ubisoft has released in years. Way more refined and playable, more interesting locales, it's drop dead gorgeous... worth it even full-price, never mind on sale.

Traced-Velocity said:MotioninJoy has a setting to emulate a 360 controller. I haven't tried it with Dead Rising 2 specifically, but it's worked for every other game for me personally.
It even shows up as an Xbox 360 Controller in the Control Panel option for Controllers.
Edit: Hmm, reading a few posts above, I guess not =/

Artofwar420 said:I mean, it works. Just not the triggers. So in the end, not really playable. I might have to go and get an Xbox 360 controller after all. At least MotionJoy works with 99% of the games I've tried. Just that damn Dear Rising 2 won't cooperate.
Oh, I already bought the game because of the co-op features but this just makes it all the better.LQX said:All transformers fans should get Transformers: War for Cybertron. Remember it mimics the cartoons rather than the movie. Great game with good graphics.

StuBurns said:GAF, with Mass Effect 2, you buy DLC from the game itself correct? So even if it's on sale, it'd probably be cheaper to buy it on PS3 as it includes most of the DLC already?
Yep, the DLC is bought with Bioware points. Which is never on sale.StuBurns said:GAF, with Mass Effect 2, you buy DLC from the game itself correct? So even if it's on sale, it'd probably be cheaper to buy it on PS3 as it includes most of the DLC already?

At first I got that stupid "Steam not found" message when trying to start the game.
Then I finally got it to run and ... now the cutscenes aren't playing.

DO NOT BUY DRAGON AGE II.
buy it on Christmas when it's 5 bucks. It's worth it!
Yep. They turned the game into more of an open world model, allowing you to progress the story without completing the sidequests. And it's made the better for it (get bored by sidequests, push the story forward whenever you want).subversus said:The general consensus is that they fixed it into an awesome game. I'm serious.
Yep. And the points are in denominations that would result in you oftentimes having useless points (can't buy anything with 50 points).froliq said:Yep, the DLC is bought with Bioware points. Which is never on sale.
You're first is always your biggest. Occasional stupid errors on non-daily deal purchases right off the bat, buying the packs(For me it was THQ's), and in general picking up many of the titles for the last few years. Sblargh said:I'm confused. Dragon Age: Origins is 10 bucks and Awakening, the DLC, another 10. Why are people saying that the ultimate edition is $10? I'm not even seeing it on the store. (on another point, when I click the banner on the front page, it leads me only to Dragon Age 2. I have to manually search the store for Dragon Age: Origins)
