Transformer is a must u guys said ?
Its awesome and if anything the Robots in it are more faithful to the cartoons that the recent movies. If you loved the cartoon back in the day you will love this game.

Also you play it from both the Autobots and Decepticons point of view. Its worth it alone for the encounter with Omega Supreme.

I'd consider DA:O Ultimate, but I haven't even finished Mass Effect 1 yet, so meh.

Transformers guys, what's the verdict on the MP? Not really interested in the SP, but if the MP is good, I don't mind getting this for me and my friends.

LOL at EA.

Just because you force a higher sale price for DA2 on Steam doesn't mean people will buy it on Origin.

EDIT: Oh wow they raised their Origin price from 30 to 39. Even funnier. People who got it for 30, what a steal!

Kinda want AssBroHos, but I haven't even started 2...

I do want Dragon Age Origins Ultimate but it is not available in my region D:

Yeah, I skip most cutscenes...they seem ultra corny.

Do you all recommend a wired 360 controller, or getting the wireless adapter since I already have the controllers for my 360, obv

I like the adapter, but it's not without complications. If your controller is synced to a 360, you have to sync it to your computer, which, if you're like me and your 360 is in the same room, means you have you unplug your 360 each time you want to use your controller for PC after using it on a 360. There are a few alternatives to this. If you have a play and charge kit, the cable will sync your controller, or if you have multiple controllers, keep one synced to your PC and the other to your 360.

Wired controller is just plug and play, obviously. I still prefer wireless, myself, since when I use a controller for games, I also usually switch my monitors to my TV and play from bed.

A random question for GAF: Are the Sims 3 expansions good? Do they add much to the base game that would be worth £50?

Reason I ask is I already have the base Sims 3 on EADM, but no expansions. Generations just came out for £30, and it's in the Sims 3 Complete pack for £50.

So basically, I'd be paying £50 for the expansions. Still worth it? Or spend the money elsewhere?

Transformers is tempting, and I remember playing a demo or something at a friends and liking it. Someone convince me.

Unless you have friends to play it co-op with, pass. It's a fun enough game co-op and it certainly does the series well if you have nostalgia for the old cartoon. But as a single player action game, it really doesn't have anything creative or particularly intersting going on.

There are 8 more days of sales. Save your cash.

just realised UK steam is actually cheaper for two worlds II than US steam by about $3-$4, shock and awe
£8.50 versus $17.00
They should have matched it, I would have bought it if it were $3-$4 cheaper.

Is the co-op campaign for Two Worlds II substantial enough to warrant a purchase? I have zero interest in playing the game single player.

MW2 for €20 is downright insulting. But it wouldn't surprise me if it turns out to be one of the top sellers for today. Ah well, picked up Tropico 3: Gold Edition myself, which puts me at a total of €33 spent this sale. Not too shabby I guess.

I've now convinced myself I need SimCity 4: Deluxe Edition and, of course, it's not on sale.

I should have picked it up during the last Steam sale, but I got cold feet.

Anyone looking for a cheap game, Puzzle Bots is really great. I bought it full price at launch and never regretted it. For $1.25 it's a steal.

It's also made by the same people that did Gemini Rue.

I only bought Puzzle Bots yesterday because it was $1.25, glad to hear it's actually a good game.

Huh, looks like I got an extra giftable version of Portal 1 when I bought the Orange Box. I didn't think it let you gift extra copies of Portal, but it does.

I imagine most people have it, but I can gift it to somebody if I get a little gift in return (say, Defense Grid: The Awakening or VVVVVV). It'll save you a few bucks ;)

listen to the mad man
Decided to play through Super Meat Boy to get the hell achievement. I've already finished on X360 (200/200), so I just sort of made a mad dash for hell. Went through all of Hell and Dark World Hell, 505 seconds. The achievement is 495-498 or so? Hmm... Might be tricky to come up with 10 seconds to shave off.

Edit: 496s, tada!

Hmm, tempted by Defense Grid even though I picked it up on XBLA when it was cheap and yet to play it. Seems like it would be best played on PC.

Just got my 3rd ticket (with Defense Grid - Out of Bullets) and used it to get Defense Grid DLC.

Speaking of Defense Grid. Buy it! It's awesome.

Probably going to buy:
Kane and Lynch 2 - I liked what they did with the visuals in this game based off the demo, but I don't think I'll be particularly interested in the game itself. Tempted though, and I wouldn't mind playing the first game either.

Assassin's Creed Series - Played the second on PS3, think I'll pick up the first (maybe second) on PC now and wait for a future sale on Brotherhood.

Not so sure:
Torchlight - Not usually my type of game, but I've heard great things about it.

Two Worlds II - Visually it looks nice but WRPGs and I just don't get along very well, usually its the combat. Genre I've tried and wanted to like most.

I'd love for someone to do a DRM summary on the daily deals.

I think I'll just get Defence Grid today.

Total Damage so far:
Defence Grid
Bit.Trip Runner
Dawn of War 2: Retribution
Heroes of Might & Magic 5 Pack
Recettear
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (as a gift for a friend)

40 euros spent and it's only day 4. I want to slow down, but Transformers is really tempting me. The nostalgia factor would actually work on me...

Dragon Age Origins Ultimate for me...I can't be bothered with the bundle since 2 is still too pricey for a game I've heard such bad things about.

Also going to grab the Assassin's Creed pack. It should run and look great on my new rig.

Hmmm... without Paypal fees though. It would've been an impulse buy if they matched it, I'll probably wait until the winter sale instead now.

holy crap, the men of war summer sale achievement is surprisingly tough on normal and above.

I felt the same way back when it was -66% off a couple of weeks ago. I'm much more interested in the cutscenes and general look of the game so I'm just going to watch the cutscenes from youtube and save the money. Judging by the demo, the game itself is quite weak.

I've owned Dragon Age 1 since Steam had their price mistake on the Digital Deluxe pre-order, and have somehow never played more than a few hours worth. I've wanted to, it's just... daunting. And yet, I'm still considering shelling out for the Ultimate Edition, since it has Awakening plus all the other content packs.

Dear god.

I might have to grab Torchlight....I want the sims 3 but I wont cave unless the price is right.

Purchased HL:Ep 1 & 2 last night. I had never gotten around to playing them and I'm really appreciating the small references to
Aperture and how the combine might be there for their portal tech. At least someone appreciates their work.

Really glad I bit those 2 dollar bullets.

Damn it guys, you're selling me on the Transformers game. And I'm not even that big of a fan of transformers.

Someone tell me it's horrible.
