Welp, goddamn ive suddenly gotten hooked on Torchlight. Have had the game for over a year now, never spent a lot of time on it. Now i want Torchlight 2 really bad, and Diablo 3 worse.
Excellent. Ever more fodder for my endless army of co-op buddies.

Or an awesome assasin's tomb or something similar, IIRC. Use your points on that :p

To be fair it does offer a free tomb to explore. I don't remember it being as in depth as the ones already in the game but hey free content is free content. Even if it's "already on the disc" so to speak, it's not like you're paying real money to unlock it.

If you avoid spending points on a wallpaper or theme you build up points across other Ubisoft games. You get some easy points from the AC Facebook game aswell. I think you get 10 just for linking your account.

Well, I think I'm reaching the point where almost every game I wanted on Steam, I already have. My wishlist consist of about 20 items, and the majority of them are upcoming titles yet to be released.

I suppose I could try experimenting with some of the more obscure indie games, but I just don't know what to buy anymore.

Of course, there is always the option of actually playing the games I have. :p

Any tips?

I only just started playing the game and jumped right into doing the achievement, so I didn't know the best way to do things - but I managed to do the last level using mostly concussion turrets and a few tesla turrets. Looking at how other people did it however, it seemed like the best strategy is a combination of tesla and meteor turrets. Would've also helped if I knew about the orbital laser.

Hopefully the Splinter Cell collection will be one of the daily deals in the coming days. Missed it during the Ubisoft week a while ago.

I think i might wait for the Velvet Edition of Two Worlds II. Trust me i got heaps of games to play, i can wait another 12 months before that edition is $17

So, is it weird that I actually like Garshasp more than God of War so far?

I very nearly bought it before the sale because I was looking for a couch/controller hack-n-slash but the awful reviews turned me off. Might grab it for when I get bored with Spiral Knights.

So there's no multiplayer in Torchlight at all?

No, but Torchlight II will.

EDIT: Still get it. Some of the guys who worked on Diablo I and Diablo II worked on this. If you liked them, then you can't go wrong with this.

It's $3 people. You are going to get what many gamers consider the best ARPG of the past few years. Even in off-line mode, the game is tons of fun. Think about it as a way of helping fund Runic to make Torchlight 2, which will have multiplayer.

Ended up picking up Torchlight as well, for 3 bucks you can't go wrong, even if the sequel's coming up real soon. The nice thing about buying these smaller games is that the file sizes are actually nice and compact. After seeing 10-15 GB installs, 500-700 MB feels like nothing.

I am completely hooked on Recettear even though it's Rather repetitive. I spent an hour with Football Manager last night and it's a doozy. I wish the players has a nice round number I could judge them with. :(

I already bought it! I was just making sure.

Exactly. I haven't picked up Torchlight in a while, but last time I did I sunk HOURS into it... and I have the attention span of a hyperactive goldfish.

Is K&L 2 co-op worth it for 5 bucks? I'm looking to boost up my library with co-op games, but i haven't even played the first 1 K&L besides the demo.

Dammit, missed Super Meat Boy because Steam wouldn't let me top up my wallet. Apparently they automatically decline purchases if your IP adress differs from the one in your billing information, and of course the support ticket I raised didn't get processed until the deals had already changed.

Here's hoping for more indie stuff in the coming days.

So wait, is it true that buying the Assassin's Creed pack includes AC: Bro Deluxe? Because it's not listed that way on the page, just the normal one.

yes, definitely worth $5 for the co-op.. my friend and I beat it over the course of 2-3 days and we were pretty surprised by the quality of it all. word of warning, though: if you get sick at ALL playing games/fps, I'd try the demo first.

Thinking about getting AssBro, but I didn't finish the second one as I got halfway and was bored out of my mind. Did I miss anything by not finishing AC2? And is AssBro an improvement?

Today is a safe day. I'm curious about Two Worlds 2, but not curious enough.

Magicka has been amazing so far, I should have gotten a four pack because this is easily the kind of thing I could push on some of my buddies. I'm hoping there's a "second chance" final day to pick up an extra copy or two super cheap.

Decided against Two Worlds II and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Just picked up Aquaria, Flight Control HD, and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey instead.

CoD:MW2 is... wait for it... $45USD on the Australian Steam store. On sale.

I imported mine for 20 bucks from Ozgameshop ages ago, and registered it on Steam.

Despite the no dedicated servers, Heart beat sensors, quick scopers, Stopping power, Commando perk, deathsteaks, predator missles, kill streaks counting towards other kill streaks, hackers; the game is still better than Black Ops multiplayer.

MW2 was fustrating but at least it was fun.
