Just installed Tropico 3, started it up and for some reason as soon as I move the camera the island basically bursts apart and creates weird geometric/fractal shapes with the textures....does anyone know what I can do to make this work?

Did and it won't work. It gets the little loading splash then it just won't load and that disappears.

You could try to fix this by editing the config.cfg file (something like: r_mode -1 / r_customheight 768 & r_customwidth 1366). I don't know how it'll work out, but good luck.

It worked for me pre-patch. It's good ole' Q3 and it took me about 30 seconds to remember and implement that which is prolly less time than it takes to go post about resolutions on Gaf. <3 Q3.

There was an EA week in late April, I believe. They had a NFS day and had all of the NFS games on the Steam Store for sale. I think NFSHP was $15, but I passed on it because I still have the PS3 version.
