Yeah I don't care about that jazz, I just wanted to play Runner :lol

And I know about the difficulty settings, but I'm used to normal now, a change in tempo or whatever will just throw me off.

haha - the potential (and now actual) sale has been keeping everyone up at night... I know I have been falling asleep like its christmas eve every night for the last 3 days.

Alright, I got the achievements for the games I own, now to have DoWII:R, Lead and Gold, and Swords and Soldiers sit there all day to tempt me to buy them (but I will resist).

It's the first section of the VERY FIRST level in the game. If it's not working for you then you haven't updated the game. A update released some minutes ago that added the achievement in the game.

Set the game to easy under options, play 1-1 and while it may take a few tries, you'll notice a very simple pattern and it won't take you long to get it.

BEAT was *updated* people. Restart steam, and you'll get a tiny, 2MB update for it. Then all you have to do is do the very first part of the first level (~70 beats or so) and the achievement will unlock.

You would be surprised how terrible my netbook is with gaming! However, thanks for the demo tip -- it runs fine at the lowest barebones settings, so I grabbed the full version.

So:

Oblivion GOTY DX - £6.80 (gotta hope MoH goes up again on the final day's salty runback)
Toki Tori - 87p (wat)
Claptrap's Robot Revolution DLC - £1.57 (75% off, won't go lower than that, surely?)

Total - £9.24

I have a £30 maximum allowance for this sale (until next Friday, at least), and I'm hesitant to commit a whole third of that on the opening day, but...Just look at them! They're...beautiful.

I don't really care about the summer sale achievement-whore contest. Which, if any, should I drop?

EDIT: Never mind, removed Claptrap, since I can get that anytime up to the 11th, right?

Not a lot but usually there are at least 3 full severs of dedicated people who love the game.

It's a great game that unfortunately had a buggy launch that drove people away. It's quite fun now.

Huh. Oblivion is smaller than I thought. That and Toki Tori are less than five gigs.

I wonder how that grows with mods and such.

Still no word on the TF2 Coolers yet? I thought this would for sure bring word on those. I haven't even gotten one myself, and yet I got another regular crate drop today.

Damn, 25$ on the first day: L&G, Runner, Recettear, Borderlands GOTY, Oblivion GOTY deluxe (lol I bought the Ob CE first week and never really played more than 20 hours)

Also, retail Oblivion's first patch or so was a bitch (soooo slow), so I'm glad to have a Steam copy at least.

I played Bit Trip Runner for about an hour and now my head hurts. Fun game though.

And oh the achievement is for Bit Trip BEAT. I already have that on iPhone and it is crazy hard. No way I'm double dipping on Steam.

I was originally just going to by Majesty 2 for $6.69 (http://store.steampowered.com/app/25980/), but that's when I saw the pack. $1.20 more for two more full games + a bunch of expansions... can't say no to that!

Edit: This pack is 84% off, meaning it's CHEAPER to buy this than the Elvan Legacy bundle alone... I wonder if the pricing is an error?

Yeah, I'm really curious about this. Figured the extra ones would be up in the Mann Co. Store by now.

This was my hangup too, but I only paid a buck for it on iOS and I have a feeling the game is probably a bit easier without having to use touch controls.
