I know that the multiplayer is extremely derivitive and simple. However, I'm interested in trying the campaign. I heard it was somewhat nice.

I can't comment on the full SP, but fromthe few hours I played, I didn't enjoy it at
all. No unique about it, tons of scripted gameplay and the game doesn't feel solid. Everything about it felt like a bad CoD/BF clone, and that's saying something.

MP, played a good 20 hours, horrible
maps, bad balance and gunfights, and while having a nice system for killstreaks and classes, it just felt bland after the 6th game. Plus no post launch support, as you said.

But it's $10, so I'm not gonna tell you how to spend lunch money.

I'm so confused. Which level is this? I see Transition and Test. I see the achievement but neither of those are "sunny 1-1".

So I have the first Witcher and just couldn't get into playing it. Is it safe to say I wont dig the sequel?

I got the achievement in Bit Trip, but didn't get the ticket.

Edit: Turns out I did get the ticket - it's just not showing in the counter on my profile page.

Also, I believe there are a few EA packs available for 50% off. I know I saw a Need for Speed pack for $50 that includes all the Steam games. Not a terrible price.

I was finally able to check out so I got the Back to the Future series (already had it from TellTale's story but wanted it on Steam), Bit.Trip Runner, Oblivion Deluxe, Lead and Gold, and Recettear all for $30. :-D

Just curious, and a friend is asking; do you lose your entry tickets for the giveaway when you spend/use them on the DLC? I would assume you lose the ability to use them towards DLC but they still count towards the raffle giveaway... hm.

I've been patiently waiting for Witcher 2 to go on sale, definitely grabbing that. I've beaten oblivion 3 times on Xbox, but I hear the master race version is far superior because of mods...

Yeah, though it is telling that none of their games are 25-33% off for the sale. I imagine we'll see more EA games in the daily deals though.

Daily deals are today only probably, Valve Pack should stay until the end.

It is in fact Bit Trip Beat, the achievement is not from Runner.

1-1 refers to the first section of the song before the colored bars display across the screen. Just play until you see the achievement notification without missing any.

All this Bit.Trip beat talk reminds me, I got the game as part of the indie Beat pack...so thats another ticket I can get no problem.

I wouldn't say so. Witcher 2 is superior to Witcher 1 in just about every way, and Witcher 1 took a while to really get "good". Witcher 2 dumps you straight into it (in a good way).

The only prize I'm even kind of interested in is the Defense Grid maps. I already got one ticket for for joining the group, there will probably one of those "don't have to own any games to get this ticket" once a day so I should be good.
