Now I'm really starting to wish I had money for these sales. So many awesome games that the old me would have jumped on by now...lol.

It's a good thing and a bad thing when this sale comes around...

And Yet It Moves is an awesome game where you rotate the world as a platforming mechanic.

Shame since Bully is an amazing game and deserved a better port job.
It got a port of a port on a different engine. IIRC, it went from Renderware on PS2 to Gamebyro for 360 to PC.

Okay, I'll give in to Frozen Synapse. At least I can see what to do, unlike SpaceChem.

Is it $12.49 USD everywhere else or is Australia getting screwed on the price?

So here I am to beg a gaffer to gift me Alpha Protocol (not available in my region). Can gift back a game you want in return. Help me experience it's charming jankyness please!

Steam ID Kitrich, add me first!

I PM'd you, did you still need help?

In case someone missed my edited post. I just tested my MS branded wired 360 controller with Bully and it worked completely fine. Something is either wrong with your controller or something else on your end.

I just caved and bought it too, it appears for the 12.49 I got a copy for me and a second copy to gift. I suppose thats what that thread was about earlier, folks going halfsies on it.

It's $12.49 in the U.S. and you're paying for two copies.

Its about the same everywhere, but the price is for 2 copies. Sell your other one in the FS copy share thread.

Hey, Toma, have you bought the game you had promised me to buy?

Yup :) Couldnt look into them yet though. That FS thread is keeping me busy.

I own AP on xbox and haven't even touched it yet but I said "fuck it" and caved in. It probably means I'll never touch that xbox copy. I'll give it to a PC less friend.

I can't get the 1... 2... 3... KICK IT! achievement to work. And I promised myself I would never play this game again. *cry*
It might be because (or why) that achievement is not on the summer camp list yet?
I'd swear I saw it on the list yesterday when the store refreshed and I can't see it anymore.

btw dudes:

i'll be getting ANOTHER copy of Deus Ex Human Revolution. Friend of mine is selling it, Augmented Edition btw (contains deus ex 1, the soundtrack, making of video, artbook, animated storyboard, motion comic), for $43. Its Steamworks so i'll be giving you the code to register it. Cheaper than the regular edition (wich has none of the goodies!)

Update: might be the case that what my friend gets is the regular edition, cant know for sure right now, if that's the case it will still be up for sale at $40

only one this time, grab it while its hot, pm me for dibs.

Where is Spacechem or Frozen Synapse, Schmatta? :p
Those were both daily deals. That list is 'hidden gems'. Not that there isn't a possibility for some of them to go lower in a daily deal, but those that have been a daily deal have gotten attention.

Ah true, okay.

Its just that the number of Frozen Synapse players still is absurdly low. I still consider it sort of a hidden gem at this point, but you are totally right.

Just posting to register my support for Frozen Synapse - it really is an amazing game just for the multiplayer - you could play this solidly for months without even realising there's an amazing single player campaign too!

Also, the SP is infinitely replayable due to random level design :)

win-win-win.

Also, is there some sort of GAF tournament? Would love more people to play with...infact is there a thread for sharing Steam names? Got loads of games I'd love to co-op on but nobody I know actually has them :(

At the moment we were sorta sharing ingame names via the FS share thread. The normal thread will be pop up more prominently after the next sales go up.

Feel free to add me ingame: TomaLexi on UK1.

And we already did a tournament for FS, but plan on doing another after the steam sales. I'll post the participants list in the regular FS thread in 10 hours or something.

You can even put it up the second to last day since isn't the last day repeated deals?

Got Frozen Synapse and so far I really adore it. By midway through the tutorial I was already really excited. I've got a couple of long-term games going, and will dive into the single-player soon. The long-term/email play aspect is what was actually most appealing to me and what sold me on the game. I don't have a lot of solid blocks of time to do multiplayer gaming, so that's a really awesome solution for me.

Had the same issue last night when launching Civ 5. Just hanged forever. Force closed Steam and restarted. Fixed it for me.

Restart steam and try again. Usually works.

So how are the New Vegas DLC?

I still have not completed New Vegas but I am tempted to pick up the DLC for when I finish, I guess I want to know if they are better than the base game or not!

Anyone else having issues with Steam atm? Mine just disconnected, then when it came back only 6 people were online out of the 250+ on my friends list.

Is there an easy way to check how much you have spent on Steam?

I can view my list of purchases but they have any costs on them...

Click on Account, then Store Transactions to see the full horror.

https://store.steampowered.com/account/ or [username]'s Account at the upper right of the client.

Click "Store Transactions" and you can see how much you spent on each thing. You'll have to add them manually, and include what you may have paid at retail or elsewhere for those Steamworks titles.
