You know you are talking about $1.25 less than it is now? You'll probably end up spending $4.99 or more on something which you'd regret later anyway so why not get AP instead?

cuz im waiting to see if vampire the masquerade goes on a daily deal and im not trying to spend that much since im counting on getting it regardless

is R.U.S.E. worth it or should I wait for it go lower possibly at the Christmas Sale
If you don't think you'll play it before the Thanksgiving/December sale it's probably a good idea to wait until then to buy it :p

When I realized that some daily deals are region specific I found out that Fable III was on sale.
Their loss, as a statement I'll buy it whenever it's cheaper
(or if they do a recap)

You should be grateful that you missed it, and you should not hope for a recap. It´s a shitty game, with the added bonuses of Securom and Games for Windows Live.

How is And Yet It Moves?

Descent, not more, not less. Don´t buy if you have a backlog.

It's pretty good game to me. Didn't play it since finished the campaign, but I was very surprised at how good it is.

I will trade the extra copy of Frozen Synapse for the 2 Fallout Vegas DLC's. (If someone just wants Frozen Synapse for 6 bucks)

Combined with the DLC bundle pack (Chimera pack + Rising Sun pack), you're getting a terrific and unique RTS. I'm always pretty hard sell with RUSE, partly because most people didn't realise they were missing out on a great game when they passed it up for Starcraft 2.

My personal GOTY for 2010.

I knew people would say that, but I loved Fable II and people did say the same about it.
(I know that it's not as good as II but still I want to play it).

I got it for free during the Aussie Ubisoft store price error debacle and I say it's worth it. I like the cutscenes for some reason.

It doesn't have any UbiDRM and uses Steamworks for those that are worried.

Something weird using the 360 controller with Bully? I don't think its a deadzone problem (I could be wrong) but when I push forward all the way on the left stick I'm still walking. If I move over to the left or right a few degrees I'll run, or in pretty much any direction except straight in front. What's going on here?

My controller definitely isn't broken, the sticks work fine everywhere else.

I got the same problem. I don't know how to fix it.

Steam's speeds are fucking shit.

I've been downloading Alpha Protocol for the last 5 hours and I'm at 42%.

It's been like that since Team Fortress 2 went f2p for me, then it became worse when the sales began. D=

Tell me about it. EADM/Origin always has given me full speed (10MB/s) where as fastest I've gotten from Steam was 3MB/s when there was no sales going on. Now I'm changing download zones hoping to get better speeds. Last year Ukraine was good but not this time :/

Well that stinks...didn't realize steam won't let you buy DLC for a game you don't own yet. I was trying to buy Honest Hearts for FO:NV because I was planning on picking it up at Best Buy this week (FYI: It's $10 this week on all platforms).

Does anyone know anyway around this?

I really like Fable 1 and 2, but Fable 3 is just so much worse than them.

Perhaps someone can purchase it as a gift?

I guess I give up on Frozen Synapse, everyone I've tried to do a pack with has gotten a PM before me or found someone else to do it with. I really wanted to give it a go, but $13 is just too much to drop on one game with so many other less expensive choices. I guess there's always the Winter sale to look forward to. :( (If anyone does decide they're interested before morning, Steam ID is PetriesLastWord)

edit: Back away man, you've spent too much already.

nvm

Whoa what? I'm confused... are you saying that I've spent too much so you wont take a discounted game? What can't I spend money? Am I misreading this?

I have only bought Bully so far but I am really hoping S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and both Counter Strike's go on sale. Been wanting those games for a while.

How much will it cost you to get to Best Buy? Depending on your transportation costs, you might as well just buy the game on steam for this price.

Has anyone used tickets to redeem the gold ship in Beat Hazard? Does it make it easier to keep track of things?

Seems to help. The pulsing graphic is a tad annoying though.

Try using Joy2Key. You can map keyboard keys to the controller and adjust the sensitivity of the analogs.

Here's the Resident Evil 5 (all graphics at full, 1920x1080, full antialiasing) gallery. It's still uploading though so all the pictures won't be there for a little bit. My upload speed sucks.

http://steamcommunity.com/id/aselith/screenshots?tab=public&showdate=1&filter=app_21690

I had motion blur on so some of the action shots are going to look a bit blurry if the character was turning when I took it or what have you.
lmao @ how washed out and ugly those filters make the graphics look. that mod that removes them really is the best thing to happen to the game on pc.

I have a couple small denomination gift cards I want use (especially since I almost never buy anything there), and it's only a 5 minute drive away. Can't be more than $1 in gas.

Buy it as a gift, send the gift to your own email address, install NV later, then activate the gift.

Well let me know if you decide to get rid of it, and I can get your Paypal info and such. At least you have online friends! I barely have GAF!
