COD4's MP is much better than MW2's. Haven't played blops because MW2 was bad enough to put me off of the series forever.

Honestly, don't listen to the people that say MW2 has the worst multiplayer ever. It's absolutely fine and not that different than MW1.

boring day for me

guess i'll be getting beat hazard though, not sure

lol at Civ considering the GamersGate deal, and sucks for those who got COD4 from D2D the other day.

How many games typically return on the last day? Like the top 20 most popular deals?

It will be the top seller from every day of the sale.

So for instance Frozen Synapse won't be back because Fallout: NV sold more yesterday

So I just found out that the loyalty promo does not work for gifting.

Sorry everyone, but you're gonna have to buy Pripyat at 7.50. :(

Actually I'm kind of on the fence with the Civ 5 DLC.

I just got into the game and none of it appears that essential to me. Maybe I'm better off saving for another deal.

There is one enemy that has cloaking, but no, absolutely no jump scares. The games horror comes purely from the setting and atmosphere.

Okay ... I think I know what kind of enemy you're talking about.
Fine, I'm going to buy SoC and CoP. Time to grow up, I guess.

I have yet to play it, but I have heard nothing but bad things. Literally. Nothing but bad things. Or people pretending that the game doesn't exist at all.

Listening to fanboys who hate anything slightly different is the worst thing to do, especially considering how well Invisible War was received by everyone else.

Thinking about picking up AI War, not sure though since I've heard about the difficulty curve. Ugh...I think I'll end up skipping out on today too.

Light day for me but I'm happy. I've been wanting to get the Druids expansion for King Arthur on the cheap for awhile...$1.50 sounds good.

That, Call of Pripyat and the Beat Hazard dlc...so plenty of stuff but just one addition to the backlog, yay :)

Honestly the Civ5 DLC is probably most worthwhile for people who like an expanded leader base for the game / "random leader" to pull from. As a bonus, on higher difficultly levels it means less chance of an AI Alexander in your game, which from my experience is always a huge PITA.

What's the scaryness level of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series? You guys are tempting in your argument for SoC and CoP.

There aren't any jump scares, but going around the underground is comparable to walking around the mansion in Resident Evil 1, unsure of what you'll find at every turn. Daylight above ground offers some reprieve so it's not just constant shit yourself nervousness. The games have the best night time thunderstorms of any game ever made, and enemies can kill you pretty fast so you have to be careful.

If you like PC games and FPS you literally can not go wrong.

Word to the wise though, SoC starts out kind of hard cause you only have a pistol and no armor. Once you get past the bridge with the guards (MAYBE an hour into the game - You can sneak around FYI) it opens up a great deal.

So I have the first Stalker game already and it didn't really impress me right off the bat (Although to be fair, I haven't to date given it much of a chance).

Do I really want the other two games in the series?

Buy Beat Hazard. Hell, I'll buy it for you if you want.

That is true, and for a mere $2.50, you can't really go wrong. Regardless, I seem to have bought it on Steam (in my sleep) already.

What the fuck. Steam somehow signed me out but only out of the store. I'm still signed into the community. And now it says I'm on a new computer so Steam Guard is activated. To sign in again I have to wait for a code. The last time this happened I had to wait over 24 hours to get the code in my email. Fuck this.

Gonna have to pick up Ultra when I get home from work.

How does multiplayer in Beat Hazard work? Do you hear each others music?

Is there a special server any of us new Guild Wars players should join? I know this game is all instanced up and stuff, but there still must be some kind of server, right?

STALKER has the ability to put people on edge. No matter what kind of armor they have, or kick ass gun, you can still die from a simple firefight if you're not smart. The horror isn't that complex, but since you're tense most of the time, its very affecting.

This just happened to me, too...fortunately Steam guard didn't pop up. Not sure why it did that, weird

I also don't get why I get signed out of the store when I'm using the client
, or why it would still use an age check when that should just be incorporated into the client and my account
. Anyhow, if Steam Guard is working correctly, it shouldn't take more than a minute to get your code.

Nope. None will impress you right off the bat, and if you didn't like the first you probably wouldn't like any of them. SoC, for me, was the easiest to get into. Clear Skies is too unpolished and CoP is too... I dunno. Its perhaps more open-ended than SoC, but it just doesn't feel as interesting and has too many zombies and other enemies that suck to fight.

I really wish they had just done one franchise sale instead of wasting a slot per day with each CoD available. I'm expecting the CoD War Chest next.

Would had gotten Hot Pursuit at 75%, but I can't be bothered to pay 30 euros for a bunch games I don't care or 12 euros just for Hot Pursuit.

The rest I either already have or don't particurarly care. Might get Call of Pripyat.

Guild Wars and MNC both 100% worth it at full price, let alone the sales price.

Nothing for me today. Been a relatively tame sale so far, probably cause my backlog is 20 games deep... :(

I wouldn't mind if the email was instant. But it never is. I have to wait forever. I have shit to do today. I want to do this now. Fuck you valve. Its not hard to send a code.

For fun I went through my Steam list yesterday and found out the following fun facts. I do not own a game that starts with te letter I, Q, or U. Also I have 36 games I own but have never played. Most of them are extras from indie bundles so they just kinda tagged along with the games I actually wanted.

It's all one. Just separated by districts, which you can switch between at any time. America 1 will generally be the most populated.
