You just need two of the ships alive with the turrets destroyed for 60 seconds. Just randomly try different songs and you will find one that works.

I did it very easily with Hoodie Ninja by MC Chris on boss mode (normal difficulty).
Do all the turrets need to be destroyed?

Tell him to send a gift to his own email address, and then have him send you the redemption link.

Problem solved.

Forgot about that, we did it now, thanks.

Still though, why does it happen only to me :/ weird part is that ive had a similar issue before, but it went away..

weird as shit, if its not fixed by tomorrow im contacting support.

If you have the Beat Hazard Ultra dlc, play one of the default songs by Frankie on Boss Rush and two ships with guns should spawn at the beginning. Take out the guns (all of them on both ships) and just chill. Another boss will appear but you can shoot it and avoid the 2 floating bosses.

So guys, is the Civ V DLC worth it?

It costs more than I payed for the original game, can I expect it to add that much content?

Get the civs they are all awesome
You can never have too many Civs especially considering how few leaders there are

He just bought the game, we still have 4 days of sales.

Again, not worth it, IMO.

Yeah. It's bound to go on sale again by the time you are tired of the stock civs, and probably for less. I, on the other hand, bought V at launch, and wanted some added freshness, so I bought the major packs up.

No absolutely not. The game has a random map generator, so anyone who buys premade maps is soft in the head. The Civ's are alright but the game ships with a ton of them that pretty much cover all the play style archetypes.

On the last day do they put up items that were previously up? I missed Medal of Honor on the 1st day.

They put up a collection of the most popular ones.

Sanctum looks like it got a summer achievement in the new update, which really doesn't come out until July 7th. Daily deal confirmed? It's called "Beach Party - Get the party started on Glade."

They usually put up the best sellers from each day, so I don't know if you'll be seeing MoH.

what are the chances of amnesia going on sale for more than 50% off?

Pretty good I'd imagine. It's been 50% off in the past sales so I wouldn't be suprised to seem them step it up a bit. $7.50 or maybe even $5.00.

Two questions about guild wars:
1. How good is the deal? I mean, has the price been lower before?
2. I've got a character in the first guild wars (nc soft store purchase), can I use the same character in the steam version of the game?

Thanks

Is it anywhere near as fun as a Dejobaan game?

(I only ask because the font and style is reminiscent of AaaaAAAaaaaAAAA!!)

Its got a kickass demo I just played to get todays ticket. Its like 30MB, seriously download the demo and give it a shot, its pretty damn cool. Lets you choose songs off your hd and all.

It's prolly like 150 million times better than any game that Dejobaan has released.

I don't see any songs by "Frankie".

Thanks a lot, guys. You saved me ~$15.

Not the Trilogy that I know of.

Yes, you can use the same NC Soft account. Once you register the games with the NC Soft account (which is required) you don't even need Steam as you can just use the regular client. (Which is in the Steam folder anyway.) The Steam version is exactly the same just in the Steam folder. You can run the .exe from the folder and it doesn't interact with Steam in any way.

Only buy the Civs if you actually find them interesting. I bought Spain/Inca because I like Isabella and Ferdinand's roles in Spain's history. Other than that, none of the DLC items really add much and the scenarios are pretty meh.

I caved in and bought Deus Ex. :D So far I've bought S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SoC and CoP, Bully, and Deus Ex. Kind of wished I would've bought Oblivion while it was a daily deal. I'm in the mood to play some rpg games.

Ah, ok. I understand now, thanks.

I feel like I have to contribute. This sale is a disease. It gets it's hook in you and you can't resist.

I had steam for demos, I never really played a lot of games because my Laptops are not the best, but with this sale I have been able to go and pickup a lot of stuff that will actually run on my systems. Very excited about it. I've gone from zero games on Steam to about 20. Not bad for under $100.

Very excited about STALKER I just added it to my wishlist the other day and come to see it on sale. So I bought all of em. It was too good to pass up.

Beat Hazard and Spain + Inca Civ V DLC for me today. Could probably pass on the DLC normally, but Spain is a civ I'd like to play as.

Passing on Deus Ex for now because with all the other games I bought/will buy I know I won't have time to get around to it before it goes on sale again, though I have been watching a bit of a Let's Play of it on YouTube and it looks interesting. I'm curious if it's more praised for the story or the gameplay though - certainly not a graphics knockout even in 2000. If it returns on the last day I may bite.

Also, any opinions on Everyday Shooter? It's been $2.50 the whole sale and I think I heard it was pretty good on PS3. Not sure if I want to get a game similar to Beat Hazard at the same time though.

Where does the dejooban hate came from? I don't get it.

The hate began taking form when people were trying to get the potatoes and the Dejobaan games were giving them trouble. The games never pretend to be more than they are, and many were offended by the fact such silly, simple games were being so punishing.

Their games tend to be really buggy or run slow for alot of people, so maybe its that. Also gold potato getting was made harder by them.

Man it drives me nuts that these great - imho - little indie games are bestowed with super-hard achievements for prizes during the sale. It's such a dumb move. Those achievements should really all be akin to "get to the end of the demo level," or something.

I wasn't aware their games ran poorly for some. 1...2...3...Kick It! is technically still in development. Alpha. It's technically a preorder. Did AAAaaaAAAaa run badly for a lot of people? It was fine for me.

I love the GlaDos level.

Their game concepts feel paper thin.

eh, this is a fair criticism I guess. But these days I play a lot of "paper thin" games, mostly on the iPad, due to time constraints. I appreciate being able to sit down with AAAAAaaaaaAAAAaaa for five minutes or fifteen or thirty...but I certainly wouldn't play it for a full hour, so that's fair.

edit: whoops, sorry about the double post.

I fuckin love JC2 now

I got a weapon mod that somehow changes the rocket launcher into nuke launchers

Well I ad just gotten around to blowing up an oil rig and got the helicopter off the pad there, and flew to the financial district. I landed on a building, shot at the nearest building, and jumped into the heli and flew off about a mile away or something. The shockwave hit and my heli still got damaged and suddenly i get a million popups at once and my chaos meter goes NUTS and I get upgraded to level 4 military status.

I get another heli attacking mine and I bail and parachute down. I decide now is a good time to launch another nuke at the city, and I miss and shoot at a building 50 feet from my face.. The game locks up and a few seconds later crashes :V

This game fucking owns

All the Dejobaan games run fine on my PC (~4 years old) and laptop (~3 years old), so I'm not sure why people were/are experiencing poor performance/slowdown/etc.
