Well the gameplay is different enough, I know a few people that prefer the original L4D to L4D2 due to less specials and less spamming of said specials. Plus while they said they're porting the content over to L4D2 who knows when we'll get all the remaining maps.

This whole GTA4 mod thing is confusing me. Can someone try to explain it again?

Some mods currently do not work with the Steam version (since it is fully updated and you need an older version of the game) but some are being updated to work with the newest version. Like this.

At release it did due to a number of issues and misperceptions, now it's fine.

It's too bad my girlfriend has Sims 3 and one of the expansions outside of Steam. I wish they'd allow for more games to be activated and/or allow for DLC to work with non-Steam products.

There's a way around this.

Origin allows you to redeem keys of EA games even if they've been purchased on another download manager. Just pop the key for your girlfriend's Sims3 in and then buy an expansion from Steam and enter that code into Origin too to tie it all together.

If anyone is curious, people on this forum say that Gothic 3 is loads better than Gothic 4. Also, they say that if you want Gothic 4 you should just buy Risen instead if/when it goes up on the daily.

You might as well get the whole pack if you're either getting KB or AP+CW. Seems to cost the same. Though I'd say it's pretty difficult to go back to pure KB if you try out AP first, so you might not play too much of that.

KB's good, they seemed to add some more functions into combat in AP judging by the demo. No clue about CW, but I'd imagine it's at least on par with AP itself.

Already have Lost Planet 1+2, GTAIV on the 360. Also have Left 4 dead 1+2 and Killing Floor on steam. Jamestown will be around $2-3 during the Winter steam sale so I'll wait on that.

I am considering King's Bounty Platinum edition, never played the series is it beginner friendly?

For now I just bought RUSH for the two tickets and it looks fun as well!

Decided to get Atom Zombie Smasher. I really want to get Sims 3 but neither my laptop or desktop can run it, I really need to get a new PC :/

So far my only purchases are; Star Wars Battlefront II, SpaceChem, BIT.TRIP BEAT, and Atom Zombie Smasher. Not bad so far.
