I think so. It adds maybe 6-8 new levels total? Each level has a bunch of interesting game modes also. I had a lot of fun with the game and the dlc.

Wasn't ever able to connect to a Killing Floor server, so solo'd the ticket achievement. Just had to get to wave 3 on normal and I had enough for a crossbow and that's when scrakes start appearing.

I was able to get it, but I'm not sure how much advice I can give you. I did it on a level 1 infestation. You'll need some luck, since I think it's practically required to wipe out all zed to have a chance of rescuing 100 survivors. Without some solid offense, you'll have to restart the campaign.

Make sure you keep moving soldiers, snipers, and the beacon around. If you get mines, put them close to where the zed start; I usually place it at the intersection closest to their starting point. If you get snipers, soldiers, and mines, it should be simple. Dynamite is almost as good as mines, just make sure you place them so that the zed will be over all of them at the same time.

Thanks for the advice -- I actually just got the achievement because I finally got snipers, infantry, and beacons at the same time.

I like the game a lot, but I have no idea why the designers thought it would be a good idea to randomize your weapon set -- I can understand it for a challenge level here or there, but it can really come down to luck. If I get stuck with barricades a beacon and maybe dynamite, I'm screwed.

L4D2 is better overall because the events are more varied. I like the characters in the first one more, though. I would say go for L4D2, but you should get both if you can.

And yeah, I also play it in single-player most of the time because there are a lot of jerks online

L4D2...but you're really missing out if you dont play online co-op or even versus.

Well, individually they're $5 and together they're $7.50, so you're really not out all that much more if you get both. If you really only want one or the other, I imagine most would recommend L4D2 for the advances in gameplay it makes over L4D. I still kinda like L4D more, since it has the most/best lore behind it.

Storywise, they're different enough to warrant getting both. Gameplay-wise, it's zombie survival horror either way.

If anyone is annoyed with L4D2 just host a map and turn on cheats, turn on noclip, and then turn off cheats again before closing the saferoom door and it should count. I remember doing stuff like that in the first game to get around some acheivements.

I think that the rule is: if you've played Crossworlds then Armored Princess is just the same game slightly improved except that the protagonist wears low-cut tops, so it's not really worth it. If you haven't played either then Armored Princess is the better of the two, so you may as well pick it up.

I had a lot of fun with it personally, the story is largely inconsequential but everything else is fantastic. Start out on easy though, it's a pretty difficult game outside the first island.

Crap. Just bought Crossworlds sight unseen to complete my KB set. Sounds like it was a waste of $3.99...

The Batman game doesn't really represent what the game is really like. Which means it's a poor demo.

But yeah it has so much more depth and other types of gameplay going on beyond what Watchmen had.

It's possible, as Dragon Age franchise was just on sale (DA:Ult was $10.20, which was very, very nice...)


Also, the Arkham Asylum demo is pretty terrible in comparison to what the actual game is. Before the game came out, I played the demo, was underwhelmed. I still got it at launch, and what I got became my Game of the Year 2009.
