Ugh... so many "kinda want" games, today. But that's just the problem, isn't it? I'd really rather save my money for games I know I want.

I tried the SpaceChem demo and it has hella confusing; didn't seem to do a good job of explaining everything. I'm just worried about that.

Sorry to tell you this, but...

I'd vote Spacechem... unless you get frustrated easily or are dumb.

You dumb.

Wow guys really suck at selling this game, telling people they're dumb isn't the best way to go about it.
How about this: It's awesome. In the ~10 hours I've owned it I've put about 7 hours into it...And I went out to dinner for the other three.

Broken Sword Triple Pack
Shogun 2 DLC
Star Wars Battlefront 2

$12.49...

I've managed to avoid spending a single red cent, and day 2 is almost finished. Do I wait another day??

I hate Steam sales.

i think they said it's not real chemistry
Not even close. I was expecting some sort of refresher on some of my organic chem days... didn't happen. You need zero chemistry knowledge. Also just play around with it and actually read the tutorial windows. You shouldn't be too lost ever if you do those. Yes the difficulty spikes around the third world, but just keep at it and play around. It's awesome and I love it. Totally worth the money. Buy it. Or you're dumb.

No, it is a more traditional point and click game. Like Syberia.
Haven't played Syberia either.. looking for a more "classic" comparison. So closer to a Sierra game?

Is there anyway to change the graphics settings in medal of honor?
In option>video. Honestly it wouldn't make a big difference, though. The game still looks like crap on high settings.

The only way to describe Torchlight for me is that it's a magnetic game.

It pulls you back and whenever someone even talks about it, you want to go back and play some more on your character.

I really love Torchlight.

How's Alien Breed Impact, kinda tempted to get it because of the ticket. Also, it's been on my wishlist, but I don't recall why.

Anyone play it?
It's like Alien Swarm but far shittier and focused on singleplayer rather than co-op.

If you do buy it, I highly recommend turning of the Ambient Occlusion and Motion Blur as both effects are both incredibly low sample and look like shit.

Get Torchlight. It's totally worth full price.

Also get Amnesia: The Dark Descent

it's $5 on amazon right now

It's the first game I tried to buy in this whole stupid sale! NERD RAGE

The checkout system seems to overwhelmed from time to time. I've had two purchases via CC instantly declined, only to process just fine with a second attempt a few moments later.

it doesn't seem to use any anti-aliasing or anisotropic filtering. had to force it through nvidia inspector. but yeah, overall it's a pretty ugly game.

It is probably worth that price if you're a fan of the genre, considering most people seem to like it, but I thought it was extraordinarily generic.

I didn't like Torchlight and thought it was very overrated, and I like the genre.

I know, but I just couldn't help myself.

This Steam thing is pretty thrifty nifty.

Alliance of Valiant Arms installs a rootkit (to stop cheating) so you may want to avoid that.

btw i know it's normal for game sizes to change from what is listed in their page but is gary's mod supposed to be 3.44 Gb or is my steam client tripping.

Just know that Alliance of Valiant Arms installs a rootkit onto your computer, haven't done much research on it, but when I heard they did that, I decided against trying the game.

Did you download custom maps or content from the toolbox? That could inflate it.

Blackops is not worth $40 especially when there are $2 games on steam. I got the game for $15.

I want Frozen synapse, and possibly a deal on Cities on Motion, Risen, Divinity II, and maybe Cargo. I will pick up Eschalon at the end.

If you don't have a Source Engine game installed (excluding Portal 2 unless Valve simply haven't updated the list) it would have downloaded the Source assets it requires (presumably; I don't own GM).
