Thanks for the input you guys. Seems like something I could tolerate. Although, I'll be saving this purchase for next summer sale then.
So I'm a little angry with Steam. Or myself.....The sale was supose to end the 5th right so I rolled onto my computer around 10:30pm ish PST Oregon time to just buy the things that didn't go on flash or daily sale, was gonna get the last remmant for what $7.99 it was and just do my all round search for anything else maybe Risen 2

I kind of found the problem, each time I move my mouse I lose the controller's signal and it doesn't come back. I just don't have to move my mouse lol.
The game is amazing btw, holy shit at the graphics.

Same here man :/ Thought that Ys would still be on sale for at least 50% off but that's gone back up, 2nd time I've stalled and lost out on both games. Goofed.

When Steam says a date to end it usually means 10am PST on the date mentioned.
All games also had a counter which indicated at what time the sales would end.
That's not to say that there couldn't be a clearer indicator on the main page of when the sales overall would end (such as a counter or specifically stating the time of the day it would end), but there was enough information to know when it would end with a couple minutes of research.
Rising 2 : Dark Waters is avialable for 50% off in Gamersgate (15 euros, not sure what the price in dollars is), and the page stats it's Steamworks.
As for The Last Remant, the best deal I can find is using GMG coupon to get a 20% discount on the game.

There is a giant countdown timer on every game on sale, even on the main page, completely your own fault.

Sorry for posting this here, but does anyone have a credible link for getting nVidia drivers to actually install on an Asus laptop that has hybrid graphics (i.e., an nVidia card and an Intel card on the laptop)?
Edit: Skip it. Pretty sure I figured it out. By the way, of the games I picked up during the sale, only the Stardock ones don't run. Fiddling around with driver updates to see if that helps. But pretty sure I'll avoid Stardock games in the future as they appear to have some difficulties with making their games work across the board. Everything else I have runs (even got Age of Wonders running last night).

Torchlight 2 - Have some buddies who got into Diablo 3, so maybe there's something there. But TL2 seems like the kind of game that will be going on sale often, so no pressure.
Crysis 2 - How is the single player? That'd be the only reason I'd get it.
Natural Selection - Is there a strong online community for this? Lot of players still?
Saint's Row the 3rd - Normally couldn't care less except Giant Bomb seemed to really dig it.
