With wukong it just meant that it's not a "real" hit like souls games because it's chinese buying their national game.
Countries who don't have a lot of hits of their own, really celebrate when they release something good.
It's real people but not real indication of game quality or success.
Both in case of wukong and stellar blade it doesn't matter a lot though

It was always weird that some fools said that about Wukong, as if a game can't be a hit if more than 50% of the gamers that bought it lived in China. Such an odd take some people have/had.

A well deserved success.

The gameplay loop is excellent. Constant discovery on new enemies, boss and lore bits from side missions. I went straight to NG+ after my first playthrough, something i didn't do even with Sekiro, DS3 and Elden Ring.

The MC's design and her outfit is the icing on the cake. My wife is constantly checking out the outfits and really loves the daily knitted dress lol.

I think they are already making a sequel? Hope they can expand on the open world to give us more variety on the environment. Wasteland and desert are just too similar.

Oh, remove those stupid treasure chest mini games.... they are for toddlers. ;/
