Steven DeKnight quitting Marvel because...?

Opinion is one matter and what anyone decides to do with their employment too. What I don't understand is the current need to broadcast people's own dissatisfactions, disapprovements and hurts to the net. To me that comes off in a really bad light.

DeKnight's thing comes off like the age old meme of loudly leaving a party. Why not just go and tell Marvel the reason and then shut up about it. It's like he needs validation from other people how right he is to do that. Why?

Is he indicating that everybody who has had a strange individual at their workplace should quit too? Or is he just priviledged and got a nice high horse?

You read his name a lot, but the news are mostly about that he's quitting or getting replaced.

Quitting because someone used a Japanese name is just silly. Maybe that guy is Transjapanese.

He's upset because a non-asian person used an asian pen name?

Dude probably wouldn't like Bitcoin. Althought.....he could be japanese....we don't know.

He'd probably be able to retain a job for an extended period of time if he started focusing on doing his own work instead of policing what all his coworkers are doing… seems to be a plague of this in the corporate workforce these days

It's also important to note the Cebulski didn't just impersonate an Asian man either, he used that false identity to act as though he was an authority on Japanese culture.

Well shit, he just needed a GAF account if he wanted to do that!

Because that what social media exposed us non-stop for the past 10 years. You need to share your life with others since your value can only be seen through the validation of others.

I find the whole situation disgusting with someone advocating someone else should lose their job - TF he thinks he is? Cannot wait for everyone to cancel J-Pop and K-Pop stars acting in all the dramas set in Europe - shouldn't we have Europeans in those roles (Vincenzo, looking at you)?

If you're that uptight about how he voices his situations then why make a post about? Nobody would have known or cared if your just kept it to yourself instead of giving it more attention than you think it needed!
